Tales of the Cocktail Announces 2024 Conference in New Orleans

The 22nd annual Tales of the Cocktail conference will take place at the historic Ritz- Carlton in New Orleans from July 21-26, 2024. The theme for this year will be “Inspire”, as a call to action for the global drinks industry to embrace growth through collective idea-sharing and energy. For over twenty years, Tales of the Cocktail has been a space for bartenders, distillers, historians and everyone in between in the beverage industry to gather and learn from one another. In 2024, the conference highlights these traditions while inviting attendees to bring their creativity, expertise and energy to New Orleans to share with their peers.

“While Tales of the Cocktail has evolved in many ways, the thread of ‘inspiration’ runs through the conference each year,” said Gary Solomon, Jr., Co-Chair of the Board of Directors. “We are excited to draw this essence to the forefront of Tales 2024 to further connect and inspire the global cocktail community that unites in New Orleans each year.”

Conference attendees will be able to choose what they’d like from a lineup full of educational programming, Beyond the Bar activations, tastings, networking opportunities, awards programming and more. Information about the official agenda for TOTC, as well as seminar and presenter information, will be released closer to the 2024 conference dates.

The Tales of the Cocktail Foundation also has a core initiative to provide grants to individuals, organizations or 501(c)3 non-profits that implement programs to improve bartenders’ welfare and well-being. The grant application period is open and proposals are due on February 16, 2024. The TOTCF Philanthropy & Development Committee is accepting proposals for projects that improve the lives of bartenders in equity, advocacy, healthcare, mental health, education, workplace inclusivity and safety, as well as other related topics. Applications and additional information are available on the TOTCF website
