Their blend of vintage rock influences and modern punk attitude made for one of the weekend’s most enjoyable discoveries.

11. BØRNS Returns to the Stage
BØRNS remains one of the more elusive artists on the touring circuit, making his Friday appearance a special treat for longtime fans. 9. José Andrés and Dave Grohl Take Over the Culinary Stage
One of the weekend’s most talked-about moments happened away from the music stages. Chef José Andrés teamed up with Dave Grohl at the Williams Sonoma Culinary Stage to prepare traditional Spanish gazpacho before the Foo Fighters’ Saturday night headlining set.
What began as a cooking demonstration quickly turned into joyful chaos. Grohl pounded on pots and pans as makeshift drums while the pair shared wine from a traditional Spanish porrón with the audience. Grohl also surprised attendees by bringing out a birthday cake to celebrate his wife’s 50th birthday, creating a genuinely heartfelt family moment.

8. Sombr Draws the Weekend’s Biggest Crowd
If there was one artist who felt poised for superstardom, it was Sombr. The rising star packed his stage with what may have been the largest daytime crowd of the weekend.
Launching into “Homewrecker” while dressed in striking red pants and a cropped leather jacket, Sombr captivated fans with performances of “Come Closer,” “Perfume,” and “I Wish I Knew How to Quit You.” His impressive cover of Radiohead’s “Fake Plastic Trees” further showcased his growing artistry.

6. Jimmy Butler’s Surprise Karaoke Session
Golden State Warriors star Jimmy Butler may have delivered the biggest surprise of Friday afternoon. During a culinary demonstration hosted by Chef Aaron May featuring Teddy Swims and Jon Bellion, Butler unexpectedly grabbed the microphone and launched into karaoke renditions of Vanessa Carlton’s “A Thousand Miles” and Jesse McCartney’s “Beautiful Soul.”
The crowd loved every minute of it, instantly turning Butler’s performance into one of the festival’s most viral moments.

The nostalgic crowd response demonstrated just how deeply the song remains embedded in pop culture.

2. Papa Roach Sets the Festival on Fire
Few performances matched the sheer intensity of Papa Roach’s Saturday night set. Frontman Jacoby Shaddix commanded the T-Mobile Stage with relentless energy, while pyrotechnics lit up the Napa sky. The band’s performance of “Scars” became even more memorable when Teddy Swims joined them onstage for a special collaboration of “Scars.”. For rock fans, it was one of the standout performances of the entire festival.

1. Lil Wayne Brings New Orleans to Napa
Closing out Friday night, Lil Wayne delivered the biggest crowd of the weekend and one of BottleRock’s defining performances. Taking the T-Mobile Stage in a gray tracksuit and knit cap, the rap icon wasted no time launching into classics including “A Milli,” “Lollipop,” and “Fireman.” The crowd stretched as far back as the eye could see, with nearly everyone rapping along word for word.
For a moment, it felt like all of BottleRock had gathered in one place, creating the kind of festival memory that attendees will talk about for years to come.

BottleRock Continues to Deliver
