Majestic Princess Makes Debut During the 2026-27 Season

During its 2026-27 season, Princess Cruises will debut the Majestic Princess, a 3,560-guest ship servicing South America and Antarctica. Cruise guests can choose from five itineraries and six departures, ranging from 15 to 33 days aboard the royal-class ship.

What To Expect

These itineraries offer something for everyone, from guests who are seeking the best food & drinks to those who would like to explore the natural wonders of the world. Highlights for the 2026-27 South America & Antarctica season include: 

  • Two overnight scenic experiences in the Antarctic Peninsula
  • 17 destinations in 10 countries, including trips to 10 UNESCO World Heritage Sites 
  • Itineraries like 15-day Cape Horn & Glaciers of Patagonia (overnight in Buenos Aires), 17-day Antarctica & South America with four days in the Antarctic region or 18-day Brazilian Adventure including Rio, Uruguay, Barbados and Buenos Aires overnight
  • First time cruise opportunities through the Beagle Channel Fjords and Glacier Alley

While in South America, travelers can enjoy world-renowned steak and wine or sip an authentic caipirinha on the beach. Guests hoping for wildlife sightings can expect to see penguins nesting in the Falkland Islands, as well as whales, porpoises, leopard seals, seabirds and more penguins in the Antarctic waters. The landscapes will offer passengers aboard Majestic Princess many breathtaking views, including: 

  • Rio’s skyline framed by the Corcovado and Sugarloaf mountains above Ipanema and Copacabana
  • A visit to Rio’s Christ the Redeemer statue and Buenos Aires’ La Recoleta Cemetery, where Eva Peron is interred 
  • Antarctica’s Gerlache Strait, Elephant Island and South Shetland Islands
  • Beagle Channel Fjords at the Chile-Argentina border
  • Glacier Alley, featuring the Darwin Range and Cape Horn & Tierra de Fuego
