Lollapalooza Releases Star-Studded 2025 Lineup

From pop princesses to international electronic acts, Lollapalooza 2025 delivers 170+ acts over the span of the 4-day festival. Olivia Rodrigo, Tyler, The Creator, Sabrina Carpenter, RÜFÜS DU SOL, Luke Combs, TWICE, A$AP Rocky and Korn lead the pack. Performances from Gracie Abrams, Doechii, Dom Dolla, Djo, The Marías, Martin Garrix, Cage The Elephant, Clairo and more should also be on attendees’ radar as the festival takes place in Chicago’s Grant Park from July 31-August 3.

Lineup

This year’s festival features a lot of firsts: Olivia Rodrigo’s Lolla debut, Luke Combs as the festival’s first-ever country closer, Korn returning for the first time since 1997 and TWICE as the first female K-pop headliner for Chicago. This year’s festival will feature a variety of rising stars, including Mk.gee, Mau P, Barry Can’t Swim, Magdalena Bay and Fujii Kaze. Lollapalooza has also tapped Alex Warren, Gigi Perez, Bilmuri and floweroflove as this year’s breakout performers. The complete lineup is:

This year, Lollapalooza has partnered with the Chicago Youth Symphony Orchestras (CYSO) to unveil this year’s lineup. These young musicians arranged and performed renditions of songs from Olivia Rodrigo, Korn, Doechii and Dom Dolla, which Lollapalooza shared on their socials. CYSO will also be performing at the 2025 festival.

Sustainability

Last year, Lollapalooza made history as the first major U.S. festival to utilize a hybrid battery system for its main stage. The system minimized the run time of biodiesel generators as it powered all audio, lighting, video and stage production. This provided significant fuel and emissions savings, contributing to the festival’s ever-expanding sustainability efforts. Lollapalooza, which is an Illinois Sustainability Award recipient, is committed to sustainable festival practices that preserve Grant Park. Some of the ways in which the festival displays its commitment to sustainability are:

  • Recycling and composting
  • Offering eco-friendly service items
  • Utilizing hydration stations to provide free, filtered water to attendees and divert millions of plastic bottles from landfills
  • Utilizing biodiesel fuel for all generators and equipment
  • Funding renewable energy projects through carbon offset purchases

Lollapalooza partners with Re:wild, a nonprofit that has protected over 400 million acres of wild lands worldwide. At the 2025 festival, Lollapalooza will support Re:wild with an onsite activation for music fans. During the 2024 festival, Re:wild partnered with Lollapalooza Chicago to expand its plant-based diet offerings. One of the most impactful ways individuals can help protect wildlife is by adopting a plant-based diet. Plant Base will return this year with a more diverse selection.

City-Wide Impact

Of all the festivals in the region, Lollapalooza’s contributions to the City of Chicago are the greatest. The festival supports the local community in many ways, including the Lollapalooza Arts Education Fund, which helps support arts access and education in Chicago Public Schools. Additionally, Lollapalooza supports local nonprofits, including After School Matters, Community Goods, and Yollocalli. The festival also hosts the annual Lollapalooza & Sueños Festival Job Fair to increase access to careers in the festival industry as well as ongoing partnerships with Festival University, Kennedy King College, Teens in the Park Fest, Black Culture Week, and Musically Fed. The festival has even funded the Grant Park Tennis and Pickleball Court Project.
