Warren Haynes Presents: Christmas Jam has just unveiled an exciting lineup of special guests and announced that the upcoming weekend’s event will be available for livestream on Volume.com.
Enhancing an already stellar roster that includes performances by Slash & Myles Kennedy, Billy F. Gibbons, Gov’t Mule, Jason Bonham’s Led Zeppelin Evening, Clutch, American Babies (featuring Tom Hamilton, Jim Hamilton, Joe Russo), and Karina Rykman, additional artists like George Porter Jr., John Medeski, Bill Evans, Mike Barnes, Greg Morrow, and more will join the festivities.
The 32nd Christmas Jam, presented by the W&S Charitable Foundation and Stefani Scamardo, unfolds on Saturday, December 9th, at ExploreAsheville.com Arena in Haynes’ hometown of Asheville, NC. This charitable event will once again support Asheville Area Habitat for Humanity and BeLoved Asheville.
Limited tickets are still available for the Christmas Jam at www.xmasjam.com. For those unable to attend in person, tickets for the livestream can be purchased at www.volume.com/xmasjam. Livestream tickets will include access to the annual Pre-Jam on Friday, December 8th live from The Orange Peel.
The lineup for the annual Jam By Day during Christmas Jam has been announced as well. Dominating three of Asheville’s top music venues – Asheville Music Hall, The One Stop at Asheville Music Hall, and Jack of the Wood – on Saturday, December 9th, will be daytime performances featuring Empire Strikes Brass, Colby T. Helms, The Snozzberries, Cody Jasper, Red Clay Revival, and numerous other artists.
During the same weekend, The Christmas Jam will organize a special record signing event and merchandise pop-up at Records in the RAD. Warren, along with his Gov’t Mule bandmates Matt Abts and Danny Louis, will be available on Friday, December 8th, from 12:30-2:00 pm to sign copies of The Benefit Concert Volume 20 (released that day via Evil Teen Records/Mascot Label Group), along with Mule’s latest albums, Peace…Like A River and Heavy Load Blues.
Grateful Bread is set to host its 11th annual warm clothing drive outside Harrah’s Cherokee Center on Saturday, December 9th, welcoming donations of new or gently used warm clothing. Items such as coats, gloves, scarves, and hats are particularly needed and will be directly donated to Homeward Bound Asheville. Additionally, BeLoved Asheville will conduct a toy drive outside the Pre-Jam at The Orange Peel on Friday night and at both the Asheville Music Hall and Harrah’s Cherokee Center on Saturday, seeking new, unwrapped toys for children aged 0-10.
Attendees also have the chance to contribute during the annual “Before The Jam, Lend A Hand” event, where fans unite to volunteer and aid in constructing a house made possible by Christmas Jam donations.
Curated under the direction of Grammy Award-winning vocalist, songwriter, producer, and guitar virtuoso Warren Haynes, the Christmas Jam stands as one of the United States’ most revered and enduring live concerts. An annual event in Asheville, it serves as a gathering point for performing artists, volunteers, and friends nationwide, all uniting to generate funds for the longstanding beneficiary Asheville Area Habitat for Humanity, as well as the newly added partner from last year, BeLoved Asheville. Across the past three decades, Christmas Jam has contributed over $2.8 million to Asheville Area Habitat for Humanity, resulting in the construction of over 50 homes and the support of infrastructure and development costs for entire Habitat neighborhoods.
