In the heart of Manhattan’s Time Square neighborhood, the hotel giant has opened Motto by Hilton New York City Times Square, a 400-room hotel. Motto is located right above 47th Street, mere steps away from 40+ Broadway theaters, dining options and outdoor attractions. It is minutes from The Metropolitan Museum of Art, MoMA, The Guggenheim, Radio City Music Hall and Rockefeller Center.

“We are thrilled to welcome guests to Motto by Hilton Times Square, a landmark moment for the brand and an ideal addition to Hilton’s presence in New York City,” said Theodora De Souza, brand leader, Motto by Hilton. “This new hotel exemplifies the Motto brand essence – it is centrally located in one of the city’s most famed neighborhoods and incorporates flexible and modern design elements, encouraging guests to connect and reflect on the cityscape, moments from the best of Broadway, museums, dining and culture.”

Motto by Hilton was inspired by 1920s NYC style and design, but blended with architectural elements of today. Its color palette of warm tones offers guests a cozy respite from the concrete jungle. The art throughout the hotel is minimal and sophisticated. The hotel’s signature restaurant, The Alderman, offers a more refined take on the classic NYC diner. It serves up American food and craft cocktails with a modern twist.

Guest rooms feature soft textures and unique headboards that mimic the city’s skyline. The hotel features Confirmed Connecting Rooms by Hilton, which allows groups to book up to six individual adjoining rooms together. The cleverly compact rooms feature an unobstructed view of the city and a variety of built-in storage increase efficiency. The rooms also include:

  • In-room technology that allows guests to adjust temperature and lighting by mobile device
  • Flexible sleeping setups: a queen “Bunkie” (queen bed with a twin bed above it), a queen flex bed that stows away into the wall or a standard queen bed
  • Beautiful tiled showers with high quality shower heads, as well as illuminated vanities and full sized mirrors

Guests of Motto can enjoy the benefits of Hilton Honors. Members have access instantly to Digital Key, flexible payment options including Points, exclusives discounts and free Wi-Fi.
