Louisville Distiller Angel’s Envy Gets New Club at Cardinal’s Stadium

Angel’s Envy is a Louisville-based distiller that makes finished whiskeys and will open a renovated club just in time for the football season at Cardinal Stadium.

The Angel’s Envy Bourbon Club went under an 18,000 sq. ft makeover which began in November 2021. The space now includes massive LED screens, extended main bars and a private speakeasy, new finished upgrades and furnishings. It also includes new elevator lobbies, restrooms, sleek steel and glass handrails and double staircases that connect different club levels

The club renovation is a product of a $4 million gift from Angel’s Envy in conjunction with the University of the Louisville Athletic Association (Uofl). The club, spans the length of the football field, is a popular gathering place for fans at UofL football games.

The club has a capacity of 1,500 for receptions, 1,000 in a theatre setting and 700 for banquets and is also used for conferences and other gatherings and events.

“Through this partnership with the University of Louisville Athletic Association and Cardinal Stadium, as well as our recent $8.2 million expansion to our downtown Louisville Brand Home, Angel’s Envy is proud to continue to invest in our hometown and support our local community,” said Gigi DaDan, Angel’s Envy General Manager said in a press release.
