Jazz Fest Announces 2025 Music Lineup

New Orleans Jazz & Heritage Festival, belovedly known as Jazz Fest, has announced its talent lineup for April 24- May 4, 2025. The event features 5,000+ musicians performing on 14 different stages at the Fair Grounds Race Course throughout its eight day duration. 

Jazz Fest will be kicked off by the Jazz & Heritage Gala on Wednesday, April 23rd at Generations Hall in New Orleans. The gala is a grand celebration of music and culture as well as a way to support the Foundation’s educational initiatives. Proceeds from the gala aid programming that provides free music education to 250+ Louisiana students, including those at the Don “Moose” Jamison Heritage School of Music. The event also supports the Jazz & Heritage Foundation’s ongoing efforts to give back to the community through grants that help bolster the arts and culture. Expedia Cultural Exchange Pavilion Showcase

From Mariachi to traditional marimba music of Chiapas, to the string-forward Son Jarocho of Veracruz and the lively rhythms of Norteño music, Mexico’s vibrant musical heritage will fill the Expedia Cultural Exchange Pavilion in 2025. Santana, Banda MS, and Grammy winner Lila Downs are headlining Jazz Fest’s tribute to Mexico. Nineteen additional bands from Mexico and the United States will also perform. Mexican culture will be on display through craft demonstrations, daily parades, photography exhibits and educational displays. Festival-goers can enjoy authentic Mexican cuisine and beverages at the nearby Cultural Exchange Food Stand. 

Tickets & Travel Deals

Weekend passes and VIP packages are on sale now at www.nojazzfest.com. Single-day tickets will go on sale at a later date. All Jazz Fest tickets are subject to additional service fees and handling charges. An account with AXS.com will be required for purchase. The Festival offers special payment plans beginning at 25% down. New for 2025, Jazz Fest is offering special general admission pricing for Louisiana residents that is cheaper than regular Jazz Fest GA weekend and single-day pricing. Jazz Fest 2025 will include the “Locals Thursday” on both weekends with advanced tickets priced at $50. Locals Thursday tickets will go on sale at a later date.
