Rock Hall of Fame Hosts Taylor Swift Day to Celebrate New Album Tomorrow In Cleveland

On April 19th, Taylor Swift releases The Tortured Poets Department and the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame will host an all-day party to celebrate. The museum’s sound system will pump out an all-Taylor playlist, including songs from the new album and her previous discography. Guests will even be able to perform Taylor’s hits in the Garage and gather with other Swifties for a photo op at the Long Live Rock art installation. So grab your friends, put on your best Taylor-inspired ‘fit and celebrate the release of The Tortured Poets Department in style.

Scheduled activities are as follows:

  • 12-5PM: friendship bracelet making station to make and trade bracelets;
  • 12-5PM: music video reel in Foster Theater;
  • 12-2PM: DJ Guilty Pleasures spinning Taylor’s tunes on the PNC Stage;
  • 2PM: Taylor Swift Trivia;
  • 2:30PM: The Tortured Poets Department will be played entirely;
  • 4PM: Group Photo Op at the Long Live Rock art installation outdoors.

Swifties can also grab a special artifact guide to check out some of Taylor’s iconic costumes & props from music videos, such as the sweater from “Cardigan” and the outfit worn in the music video for “Willow”. The guide will also showcase some of the artists who have impacted Swift’s music and where to find their artifacts.

Admission for the event is $35 for non-members or free for Rock & Roll Hall of Fame members. Additionally, City of Cleveland residents get into the Rock Hall for free as part of the CLE VIP program, sponsored by the KeyBank Foundation. The new record, The Tortured Poets Department, will be available for purchase in the Rock Hall store while supplies last. The store will also have Taylor’s previous albums available as well as more pop merch. For more information on the events happening at the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame, visit https://www.rockhall.com/.
