Bellroy’s Cooler Caddy Is The Perfect Travel Cooler For A Road Trip

After my recent interview with Top Chef’s Sara Bradley, who talked about a collapsible cooler being her must-pack item when traveling for bringing home perishable treats she finds on the road, I began my search for the perfect travel cooler.

For anyone who knows me, it is apparent that I do not pack light, between the clothes and camera gear, my bags are often stuffed to capacity and very much at the weight limit. So, whatever I chose needed it to be lightweight and easy to carry.

I recently partnered with Bellroy to try the Cooler Caddy and take it on a few roadtrips over the holidays. I used it for a few long car rides to pack lunch and drinks for the drives.

For those who relish in a life on the road, yet desire a compact solution for keeping beverages chilled, the Bellroy Cooler Caddy proved to be an ingenious answer. Unlike traditional coolers, the Cooler Caddy, designed by Bellroy, is both lightweight and collapsible, making it ideal for carrying a six-pack or a modest meal. When not in use, it folds down to a size convenient enough to slip into a backpack or luggage. It also has a strap to clip onto the top of luggage to room around as well.

The Cooler Caddy by Bellroy is not just practical but also designed for durability. The grab handle, crafted from webbing, ensures easy portability. Its water-resistant feature, both inside and out, offers protection against rain or ice, making it a versatile choice. Bellroy has thoughtfully integrated a built-in bottle opener, making this caddy the ultimate companion for your favorite beverages. With a wide mouth opening for convenient access and a flat bottom to prevent tipping, this cooler comes with the added assurance of a three-year warranty.

On my roadtrip, the cooler held a full lunch one day and also holds up to six 12 oz cans if you aren’t using it for snacks. The Cooler Caddy sat flat in the car seat without tipping over and then clipped to the top of my suitcase to roll in and out of the hotels on my trips with ease.

The bag itself only weighs 200 grams and it measures a small 220 x 360 x 150 mm. Bellroy touts it as a cooler you can attach to the outside of a daybag. The Bellroy Cooler Caddy is available in three colors—charcoal, copper, and arcade gray. I chose to take the charcoal color option and it is a beautiful neutral shade that pairs with all of my other luggage.

It’s the perfect gift for yourself or anyone who loves to travel.
