As summer draws to a close, Walt Disney World is preparing for fall fun with a variety of family-friendly experiences at the park. This year’s seasonal celebrations will have guests of all ages giddy with delight. Check out some of the fall highlights from around the park:
Magic Kingdom:
Magic Kingdom Park is hosting Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party until November 1st. The party takes place after normal park hours from 7pm-midnight. Festivities include:
- Minnie Mouse, Daisy Duck and Clarabelle Cow dressed as Hocus Pocus’ Sanderson Sisters in Mickey’s “Boo-To-You” Halloween parade
- 30 fall and Halloween themed treats are available throughout the park. Some are exclusive to the after-hours party, while others are available during regular operation
- Guests can trick-or-treat in their best non-scary costumes and receive Mars brand sweets like Skittles, Snickers and M&Ms
- The Seven Dwarfs are on-site for photo opportunities
- Adventureland features a pirate bad serenading the crowd with sea shanties
- Max Goof and his Powerline party pack are making appearances throughout the park
- Guests can take a special event-themed photo in a step-in photo experience
- Guests also receive a reusable trick-or-treat bag and commemorative print for attending the party
Additionally, Magic Kingdom will be transformed with festive fall decor. Main Street, U.S.A. is decked out in autumnal colors, massive pumpkins, scarecrows and more until November 1st.
EPCOT:
Through November 18th, guests can taste their way through six continents at the EPCOT International Food & Wine Festival courtesy of CORKCICLE. A few of the highlights for 2023 are:
- A wacky, flavorful adventure at Brew-Wing Lab at the Odyssey with appearances from The Muppets, Dr. Bunsen Honeydew and Beaker
- 25+ Global Marketplaces offering the best food and drink from around the world throughout EPCOT
- all- new Global Marketplaces will make their debut on 9/22 as part of the Disney100 celebration
- Live musical performances during the Eat to the Beat Concert Series at the America Gardens Theatre (Eat to the Beat Dining Packages are available)
- Pluto’s Pumpkin Pursuit, a special Halloween scavenger hunt from September 29th-October 31st (or while supplies last)
Animal Kingdom:
- Tree of Life Awakenings will return in early November after daylight saving time ends. During these, the Tree of Life will have limited-time projections full of vivid colors, inspiring music and beautiful imagery.
- Guests can learn how to draw their favorite Disney villains from October 1-31st at The Animation Experience at Conservation Station.
- Animal Kingdom celebrates 10 years of the Wilderness Explorers program with educational opportunities at the insect, bat and habitat badge locations.
Disney Springs:
- The Ganachery will have delightful chocolaty treats like Haunted Mansion Portrait Bars, Chocolate Skull Bonbons and Hot Ganache.
- Amorette’s Patisserie will serve pumpkin creme brulee.
- “Squad Ghouls” performances will take place at the Waterside Stage on Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays from September 29-October 29.
- Zombie Drummers and Skeleton Stiltwalkers can be found in Town Center on Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays in October.
- Disney-themed Halloween merch will be available at The World of Disney store.
