Starbucks and Marriott Bonvoy Announce Collaboration

Starbucks and Marriott Bonvoy have partnered to create a special collaboration for members who link both brands’ loyalty programs. Now members can link their accounts at Starbucks.com/MarriottBonvoy and receive more benefits. At Starbucks, members with linked accounts will have the opportunity to earn more Stars. Stars can be used toward complimentary beverages, food and merchandise. With Marriott Bonvoy, members with linked loyalty accounts will be able to earn points redeemable at 30+ brands and 10,000 global destinations, including on the Marriott Bonvoy Moments experiences.

Additional benefits include:

  • Double Stars During Stays: Marriott Bonvoy and Starbucks Rewards members can earn double stars on qualifying transactions at participating Starbucks locations through the duration of their eligible stay at participating Marriott Bonvoy hotels.
  • Marriott Bonvoy Weeks | Sip, Dream, Go: Throughout the year, during designated Marriott Bonvoy Weeks, members of both programs will earn 100 Marriott Bonvoy points when they make three qualifying transactions at participating Starbucks locations. The first Marriott Bonvoy Week of 2024 is July 8th-July 14th.

“I love my regular morning cup of Starbucks coffee, and find I enjoy it even more when traveling. So, Marriott Bonvoy’s collaboration with Starbucks makes perfect sense,” said David Flueck, Global Head of Loyalty, Cards & Enterprise Partnerships, Marriott International. “We will truly satisfy our members’ passions for coffee and travel with the opportunity to earn more points and Stars while traveling and at home, and later this year by bringing those passions together when we introduce exclusive coffee- and travel-themed experiences on Marriott Bonvoy Moments.”

“Marriott Bonvoy’s commitment to enriching moments for their customers aligns with Starbucks customer promise to uplift the everyday, making them the perfect loyalty partner,” said Kyndra Russell, Senior Vice President, North America Chief Marketing Officer, Starbucks. “We’re continuing to develop our Starbucks Rewards program, and through this new collaboration, we are excited to offer members even more value and enhanced benefits through travel experiences.”

In celebration of this new loyalty collaboration, Marriott Bonvoy has announced a sweepstakes exclusively available to members who participate by linking their accounts. The Grand Prize will feature a visit to each of the Starbucks Reserve Roasteries in Seattle, Milan and Tokyo, as well as a stay in a participating hotel and round-trip airfare. Additional prizes include a visit to one of the Starbucks Reserve Roasteries and 500 chances to win hundreds of Bonus Stars from Starbucks. Eligible customers in the U.S. can enter the sweepstakes between June 18 and July 7 and find the official rules here.

To keep the party going, Starbucks Reserve locations in Seattle, Chicago and New York are introducing a cocktail for Marriott Bonvoy to celebrate the launch. The drink is the Starbucks Reserve Siciliano, which blends Starbucks Reserve Cold Brew, traditional Italian spirits, Scrappy’s Orange Bitters and sparkling water. This cocktail is available for a limited time to Starbucks Rewards and Marriott Bonvoy members with linked accounts at U.S. Starbucks Reserve Roasteries and the Starbucks Reserve Store at the Empire State Building.
