Royal Caribbean Unveils New Tropical Short Getaways for 2025-26

Royal Caribbean guests can book 3- to 6-night vacations to the Caribbean and The Bahamas with the brand’s new short getaways. These voyages will depart from six U.S. cities across Florida, California and Texas aboard Utopia, Wonder of the Seas, Navigator, Quantum of the Seas, Enchantment, Explorer, Freedom, Jewel, Liberty and Mariner of the Seas. Vacationers will be able to choose from a variety of destinations, including family-friendly adventures and Hideaway Beach, an adults-only oasis. 

Oasis Class Vacations

Offering an impressive 6,000+ guest-capacity each, these ships are the largest in the Royal Caribbean fleet. Aboard, guests can explore the 10-story Ultimate Abyss dry slide, The Perfect Storm waterslides, find entertainment across four stages, fly on a zip line or try out the FlowRider surf simulator. With over 40 restaurants, bars and lounges, there will be something for everyone to enjoy. Choose from:

  • Utopia of the Seas, departing from Port Canaveral (Orlando), offers 3-night weekend or 4-night weekday island hopping getaways to Perfect Day at CocoCay and Nassau, The Bahamas.
  • Wonder of the Seas departs from Port Canaveral (Orlando) and Miami. In August 2025, the ship will make its Miami debut with 3- and 4-night getaways to Perfect Day at CocoCay and Nassau. Wonder of the Seas also offers longer 7-night eastern and western Caribbean adventures from April-August 2025. These week-long cruises will depart Port Canaveral and visit Perfect Day at CocoCay; Philipsburg, St. Maarten; Charlotte Amalie, St. Thomas; Costa Maya and Cozumel, Mexico; and Roatan. 

Quantum Class Vacations

Aboard Quantum of the Seas, adrenaline-seeking guests can take advantage of SeaPlex, the world’s largest indoor activity complex at sea, where bumper cars, a roller skating rink and a sports court and more are available.

  • Quantum of the Seas, departing from Los Angeles, will provide vacationers with 3- to 6-night getaways featuring destinations like Ensenada and Cabo San Lucas, Mexico. This ship can hold almost 5,000 guests. 

Voyager Class Vacations

These ships feature The Perfect Storm, a pair of racing waterslides; The Bamboo Room, a unique tiki bar and meet-up spot; glow-in-the-dark laser tag and more. Capacity for these ships is around 4,000 passengers each. Choose from: 

  • Navigator of the Seas, departing from Los Angeles, will explore the Mexican Riviera with 3- to 6-night getaways. Aboard these trips, guests will visit Cabo San Lucas and Ensenada, Mexico as well as Catalina Island, California. For a longer vacation option, 7-night getaways will also visit Puerto Vallarta and Mazatlan, Mexico and more. 
  • Mariner of the Seas, departing from Galveston, will offer 4- and 5-night getaways to western Caribbean destinations such as Costa Maya, Cozumel and Roatan.

Freedom Class Vacations

Highlights of these ships include The Perfect Storm racing waterslides, FlowRider surf simulator and a variety of restaurants serving everything from sushi to classic Tuscan food. Choose from:

  • Freedom of the Seas, departing from Miami, offers 3- to 4-night getaways to Perfect Day at CocoCay and Nassau during the first half of summer. In the winter, new western and eastern Caribbean trips to George Town, Grand Cayman, Perfect Day at CocoCay, Labadee, St. Johns and more will be available for booking 4- to 5-night getaways. This ship’s capacity is just under 4,000 guests. 
  • Liberty of the Seas, departing from Fort Lauderdale, offers 3- to 4-night getaways in the winter heading to Perfect Day at CocoCay and Nassau. This ship’s capacity is just under 5,000 guests. 
  • Explorer of the Seas, departing from Port Canaveral (Orlando), offers 4- to 5-night getaways to Perfect Day at CocoCay, Labadee, Costa Maya, Cozumel and Puerto Plata. This ship’s capacity is around 4,300 guests. 

Radiance & Vision Class Vacations

These ships are some of the smallest ships in the Royal Caribbean fleet, with capacities around 2,700 guests. Once on-board, guests can lounge on the pool deck, visit the adults-only Solarium, enjoy a trip to Vitality Spa or try the rock climbing wall. Five-course meals at Chef’s Table and other dining experiences will tantalize tastebuds. Choose from: 

  • Jewel of the Seas, departing from Fort Lauderdale, offers 3- and 4-night getaways in the summer to Perfect Day at CocoCay and Nassau. This is the first time since 2011 that the ship will call Fort Lauderdale home. 
  • Enchantment of the Seas, departing from Tampa, offers year-round 4- and 5-night getaways to the western Caribbean and The Bahamas. Highlights include Belize City, Belize, Cozumel, Costa Maya, Nassau and Roatan and some sailings which include Perfect Day at CocoCay.
