Marcus King Band Family Reunion Brings All Star Lineup To South Carolina August 24-25

The lineup for the Marcus King Band Family Reunion, taking place August 24-25th in South Carolina, has been announced. The lineup, curated by King, includes two sets by King, as well as The Avett Brothers, Band of Horses, Nikki Lane and more. The two-day festival will take place at CCNB Amphitheatre in Simpsonville. 

“When I was growing up in South Carolina, once a year we’d pack the family car up and head up to my great grandparents home for some front porch pickin,’ covered dishes, lots of love and plenty of leftovers! This is where I learned about the joy music could bring and how it’s a powerful force that brings us together,” says King. “Want to bring that same joy to you folks this year with the return of the annual Marcus King Band family reunion. We are back and bigger than ever!”

Super VIP ticket holders will be able to witness the All Pro Smoke Show, a BBQ showdown between South Carolina’s Home Team BBQ and North Carolina’s Southern Smoke BBQ. 

Limited tickets remain, in options such as single-day, two-day pass, VIP and Super VIP. They range in price from $69.50-$349.50. $1 from every ticket sold will be donated to the Curfew Foundation, which provides assistance for those struggling with addiction and mental health, as well as funds music education in underfunded areas. The foundation was named in memory of Marcus King’s friend, Matt “Curfew” Reynolds, who was a singer-songwriter, tour manager and pillar of the music community who committed suicide in 2017.
