This spring, Holland America Line expands its whiskey offerings to include nine single barrels sourced from around the world. In 2024, the beverage program featured a single barrel select bourbon from Buffalo Trace Distillery. In 2025, the brand will debut single barrels sourced from up-and-coming and world-renowned distilleries. These barrels are only be available while supplies last. They are expected to be fully available across the fleet by May 2025.

New Single Barrel Whiskey and Bourbon Lineup
The Holland America Line Ocean Bar will feature the following:
- Weller Full Proof: features bold vanilla and oak notes, a rich mouthfeel and a balanced finish
- Weller Antique 107: notes of dark cherry and vanilla pair well with this bourbon’s up front heat, delivering a smooth, rich sip.
- Angel’s Envy, Barrel #1: Port barrel-finished with notes of anise, nutmeg and brown sugar.
- Angel’s Envy, Barrel #2: Madeira barrel-finished with notes of ginger, leather and caramel.
- Angel’s Envy, Barrel #3: Port barrel-finished with notes of butterscotch, malt, hickory and maple.
- Uncle Nearest 1884 Single Barrel: this rising whiskey brand from Shelbyville, TN delivers a barrel featuring balanced heat and notes of toffee and caramel on the finish, as well as warming spices and hints of sarsaparilla.
- Woodford Reserve: notes of stone fruit, biscuit, toffee, caramel and a delicate peppery spice finish give this single barrel a bolder flavor than the flagship.
- WhistlePig 15-Year Rye: this 15-year-old whiskey is bottled at 100 proof and features rich, earthy notes and subtle floral undertones. It is a blend of straight and malted rye, giving it a complex yet delicate finish.
- Westland American Single Malt: this Seattle-based distillery offers a port-finished American single malt whiskey with notes of toffee, stone fruit, toasted marshmallow that finish with smoke and peat.
Holland America Line will feature a peated single barrel from Westland in its “PNW Penicillin” cocktail created by Sam Ross. Ross created a menu of exclusive cocktails on all Alaska ships last year. He created two of the most famous modern classic cocktails: Penicillin and Paper Plane.
