Bellagio’s Conservatory & Botanical Gardens’ fall display, “The Garden of Time”, is open now through November 9th. The whimsical exhibit takes visitors through a fairytale-inspired realm of vibrant autumnal flora and fauna, complete with woodland creatures and magical touches. In additional to the visual beauty, lovely melodies and the aroma of spiced apple cider waft amidst the displays. Each garden bed, designed by Ed Libby and the Bellagio Horticulture team, touches on themes of timelessness, transformation and wonder.
“This display celebrates the changing of seasons with a breathtaking landscape that intertwines vibrant autumn hues with intricate, time-inspired designs,” said Libby. “We welcome guests to experience this artistic celebration of the beauty of nature in the fall and the inevitable passage of time.”
The Garden Beds
West Bed
The West Bed serves as the heart of the forest. On its left side, a fairy treehouse is surrounded by twin waterfalls that feed into a calming pond below. In the middle of this bed, a wooden bridge leads to a moss-draped cottage where the exclusive Bellagio dining experience, The Garden Table, takes place. The ground is covered in warm-hued botanicals and white pumpkins. Dragonflies and fairies fill the air while a majestic stag sculpted from driftwood stands guard nearby.
North Bed
The North Bed takes guests into the heart of the Garden of Time. Vibrant LED screens showcase abstract elements that take visitors deeper into the enchanting experience. Two 27-foot-tall trees tower above with leaves bursting in vivid fall colors. A pathway winds through the autumnal scene. On the right of the bed, a driftwood sculpture of an elk stoically stands as fairies and dragonflies fill the sky.
East Bed
Golden, oversized lanterns illuminate a pathway of gleaming turquoise stones that coaxes guests through the East Bed. A mystical timepiece suspended from an intricately adorned18-foot arbor serves as a gateway into a realm of beauty and wonder. A four-foot-tall woodland owl perches on the archway as a symbol of wisdom and mystery.
South Bed
A showstopping 36-foot-tall Tree of Time is the focal point of the South Bed. The hands of its clock symbolize the natural progression of life. An antique cottage is tucked within the green moss and ivy near a glimmering pond. Petrified wood statues of deer and rabbit exist amidst the vibrant flowers and white pumpkins.

Sustainability Initiative
Bellagio’s Conservatory and Botanical Gardens has prioritized sustainability in the curation of this exhibit. Water used by the exhibit comes from on-site underground wells that gather rain and recycled water from the resort. The water in the conservatory is also recycled throughout the exhibit and reused at the resort. These water conservation efforts are part of MGM Resort International’s sustainability commitment. Additionally, when the display comes down, plants and botanical materials that no longer have viable life will be collected by a local composting facility. The organic waste will become composted to help improve the environment and keep thousands of pounds of waste out of local landfills.
Bellagio’s Conservatory & Botanical Gardens is complimentary and open to the public 24 hours a day, seven days a week. To learn more, please visit Bellagio’s website.
