ShipRocked 2024 Day 6: Bimini Beach Wars, The Warning, Badflower & The Stowaways Horror

There was no better way to end the last full day of ShipRocked 2024 than waking up to the views of the beautiful island of Bimini in The Bahamas. We had a great day taking in the beach vibes and the wonderful pina coladas at Resorts World Bimini. Members of From Ashes to New hosted the ever-competitive Beach Wars.

Back on board, The Warning took to the Deck Stage for their final performance as they won the hearts of ShipRockers throughout the week. It’s no secret they have gained some new die-hard fans in the States.

The very popular Artist Q&A featured vocalists, Jesse Leach of Killswitch Engage, Cullen Moore of Sleep Theory, guitarist Daniela Villarreal Vélez of The Warning, Johnny Stevens of Highly Suspect, Brandon Yeagley of Crobot and Luna Aura. It’s always such an incredible way for fans to get to know more about their favorite artists.

These singers all revealed their favorite songs to play live, bands they thought we should check out, some of the biggest things that surprised them about ShipRocked and much more.

Eva Under Fire unleashed an impressive set with a full house in the theater. Many ShipRockers missed the first set because they stayed on the boat during the first day of Jamaica while many were waiting for the boat to dock. Vocalist Eva Marie belted out craveable tracks such as “Comatose,” “Unstoppable” and “Blow.”

Dead Poets Society and Dayseeker also cranked out their final sets of the cruise.

Before the Stowaways hit the stage The Scream Queen herself hosted the finals of the Scream Contest for fans to pick their favorite shrilling screams that would fit into any horror flick.

Sleep Theory also had fans lined up down the hallway for their Meet and Greet hosted in The Music Experience Lounge.

One of the highlights of the day was the “Horror Set” from The Stowaways. The setlist brought a hellish good time and one of the most stunning parts of this supergroup is seeing musicians and vocalists play together that you would never think you’d see.

Crobot’s Brandon Yeagley and Dead Sara vocalist Emily Armstrong should make their duets a full record. These two powerhouse singers came together to unleash “Mother” by Danzig.

Nonpoint’s Elias Soriano brought the house down with his version of Pantera’s “Cowboys From Hell.” Soriano also tag-teamed with Blacktop Mojo singer Matt James for Alice Cooper’s “Feed My Frankenstein.” James did an unreal tribute to Layne Staley as he crooned “Them Bones” by Alice and Chains.

Steel Panther frontman Michael Starr got devilish as he belted out “Shout At The Devil” by Motley Crue and “Running With the Devil.” With help from The Warning and the all-star ensemble of The Stowaways & crew, everyone sang “Highway to Hell.

The final theme of the night was “Monster Mash” and there were all kinds of ghouls, goblins, and even a basketball-playing werewolf out and about on the Carnival Magic.

As we sailed back to Miami and turned back to our normal human selves the next day, we’ll never forget the adventure that was ShipRocked 2024!

We can’t wait to see what ShipRocked 2025 has in store.
