Royal Caribbean’s Spectrum of the Seas to Visit Asia in 2026-27

Beginning May 2026, Spectrum of the Seas sails from China and explore Asia, offering guests itineraries that range from two to nine nights. The ship will explore a selection of Asia’s most popular destinations. Spectrum of the Seas will visit Tokyo, Osaka, Mount Fuji, Okinawa, Nagoya and Hakodate in Japan. It will also visit Busan and Jeju in South Korea and Da Nang and Hue in Vietnam.

“This is one of our most exciting lineups yet, with incredible new destinations and longer, more immersive itineraries,” said Benjamin Bouldin, President, Royal Caribbean International China. “From vibrant cityscapes to breathtaking coastal escapes, these new adventures are designed for travelers looking to experience the best of Asia in a whole new way.”

Spectrum of the Seas

Royal Caribbean’s Spectrum of the Seas was built to offer its guests an unforgettable voyage, complete with superior dining, adventurous on-board activities and the best in entertainment. The ship features:

  • The North Star, an all-glass observation capsule located 300 feet above sea level
  • Skydiving on the RipCord by iFly
  • Surfing on FlowRider
  • SeaPlex, the largest indoor sports and entertainment complex at sea
  • Two70, which offers immersive shows utilizing its cutting edge technology

Dining options range from authentic Italian cuisine to regionally-inspired bites at spots like Hot Pot, Teppanyaki and Sichuan Red.

Brand New Asian Adventures

With these itineraries, Royal Caribbean offers its guests more options to explore Asia. For the first time ever, an 8-night adventure to Japan’s Mount Fuji and Nagoya is being offered. While on this trip, guests can visit the famous Five Lakes region at Mount Fuji or explore Nagoya’s rich history. There are even shorter itineraries that include exploring the Gamcheon Culture Village in Busan, visiting the relaxing hot springs of Kumamoto in Japan or taking in the captivating beauty of Okinawa. The 2026-27 season also includes holiday sailings, like Thanksgiving and Christmas festivities including themed entertainment and seasonal cuisine.

Beginning in November 2026, Royal Caribbean’s presence in Hong Kong will also expand to explore Asian hotspots, including Ishigaki, Okinawa and as well as more tropical and culturally significant locations. Cruisers sailing from Hong Kong can also enjoy the new “cruise-to-nowhere” experience, featuring world-class entertainment, elevated dining and breathtaking views of the ocean.
