Parisian Eatery Mr. T Opens in Los Angeles

Notable Paris bistro Mr. T has opened a location in Los Angeles, California located on 953 North Sycamore Avenue.

Mr. T is the creation of mastermind head chef of the Paris location Tsuyoshi Miyazaki and restaurateur Guillaume Guedj (Gyoza Bar, Ramen Bar and Passage 53).

Lucky Los Angeleans will taste the restaurant’s well-known favorites such as roast lamb kebab and comte mac and cheese. Some beloved main dishes include the “Uni” with Koshihikari rice, confit egg yolk and sea urchin crème, chicken tsukune mille feuille with sweet potato puree and candied kumquat; caramelized half Liberty duck with Weiser farm potatoes and more!

There is also a seasonal chef’s tasting menu which is made with quality produce from local agriculturists and even an on-site herb garden.

For diners who enjoy fine wine and delicious cocktails, Mr T’s will offer quality Burgundy and Bordeaux, curated from Guedj’s personal collection. There will also be a selection of cocktails such as the signature Mr. T, which is a vodka, blackberry and mint base with St. Germain foam.

Another notable cocktail is the Can’t Knock The Hustle which consists of Japanese whiskey and Amaro flecked with smoked cinnamon.

“When we finally decided to bring Mr. T to the U.S., it was tough choosing between New York and L.A.,” owner Guillaume Guedj told WWD in an article. “But to me, the local products, the produce, fish and meat from California are just some of the best in the world. To be able experiment and evolve our menu with some of the finest fresh materials we can have access to, it was a no-brainer to choose L.A.”

Service is available from Tuesday through Saturday from 5:30 p.m to 11 p.m and reservations are booked through OpenTable.
