Krewe of Orpheus Celebrates Inclusivity with Bianca Del Rio and Brothers Osborne

The Krewe of Orpheus has unveiled its 2025 New Orleans Mardi Gras parade royalty and concert headliners, featuring a dazzling, star-studded lineup that celebrates LGBTQ+ inclusivity.

Bianca Del Rio, the globally renowned drag queen famed for her sharp wit, bold humor, and iconic makeup, will reign as this year’s parade monarch. A New Orleans native, Bianca rose to fame after winning season six of RuPaul’s Drag Raceand remains one of the show’s most beloved contestants.

Since her victory, she has completed six sold-out solo world tours across more than 30 countries, frequently packing arenas, as highlighted in a release from the Krewe of Orpheus.

We saw Bianca perform of the William Sonoma stage at BottleRock back in May and she did not disappoint so Mardi Gras attendees are surely in for a treat.

Bianca Del Rio, born Roy Haylock, frequently performs in the Crescent City, where her family often attends her shows. She has even shared on stage about continuing to source beads for her dresses from local New Orleans shops.

Country music duo Brothers Osborne, known for their support of the LGBTQ+ community, will headline the post-parade black-tie gala. The siblings are set to bring their signature sound to this celebratory event.

The 1,500-member Krewe of Orpheus rolls March 3 at 6 p.m. Forty-three floats participate in the parade, with the party following at the New Orleans Convention Center.
