Fozzy Covers, Harley Cameron Shines, and Curry Man’s Farewell: A Recap of Saturday’s Rock N Wrestling Rager

Saturday, day two on Chris Jericho’s Rock N Wrestling Rager at Sea started with autograph and photo sessions with wrestlers in both the AEW and Legends. Cruisers picked up a card at guest services when they boarded the boat to get assigned times to line up for photos with their favorite wrestlers to make the process smooth sailing.

Multiple meet and greet sessions were held throughout the morning. We caught Will Ospreay, Mark Brisco, Big Bill, Toni Storm, Thunder Rosa, Bobby Lashley and more during their sessions meeting fans of all ages. There are more than 50 professional wrestlers on the ship this year, making the specified meet and greet times even more important so everyone has the opportunity to meet their favorite wrestlers.

The Dave Spivak Project played on deck at 2:00 p.m. The Canadian singer and songwriter began releasing music in 2016 most similar to classic Canadian Rock with deep lyricism and emotional tones. His newest single “Dead Mice and Mosquitoes (Drink It Away!)” was just released on January 29. In 2018, the group toured alongside Fozzy for the tail end of their Canadian tour. This year will be their sixth Rager at Sea with Chris Jericho.

Fans had the amazing opportunity to get their photo taken by NCL staff inside the wrestling ring and could later purchase the photos as a keepsake from the cruise. In our latest interview with Chris Jericho, he goes into detail about the ring and the struggles that it first presented to be constructed on a moving cruise ship. Jericho and his safety crew had to design and set-up an apparatus that would prevent the ring from moving back and forth with the ship. Thankfully, his team came up with a safe set-up and the on-deck ring was successful.

We were really happy to be walking through the atrium to catch Harley Cameron singing. She is one of the AEW’s breakout stars and we love her. Her real name is Danielle Glanville and she is an Australia professional wrestler , singer, and model. In the AEW, she goes by her ring name Harley Cameron and is a member of The Outcasts  stable. She sang covers like “F*ck You” by Cee Lo Green, “About Damn Time” by Lizzo, and “Mr. Brightside” by the Killers. Her singing voice is great and her stage presence is fun and engaging.

Harley proved to be multi-talented inside and outside of the ring when she won her wrestling match later that evening.

Before The Masked Brother showed his talents in the ring, he challenged anyone who would fight him as the best masked wrestler on board. The challenge was answered by Curry Man, Christopher Daniel Covell, a retired professional wrestler. Curry Man is currently part of AEW as the Head of Talent Relations. After Curry Man defeated The Masked Brother, he thanked his fans and said he has been gone from wrestling for a long time but Chris Jericho invited him onto the cruise. He named this match as his last match and his official retirement from professional wrestling.
