Colassal Cacti

Showing at Coachella for the first time, architecture studio Office Kovacs presents Colossal Cacti, a piece made up of seven giant succulent sculptures (the tallest one reaches 50 feet into the sky) covered in road reflectors. The studio’s work typically includes conceptual proposals, architectural competitions, temporary installations, and commercial interiors, and Colossal Cacti is its largest installation yet.

This installation located with views of the main stage in the center of the festival became a very popular place for festival goers to congregate and take photos. The artist stated that they hope fans come away with a heightened awareness towards art and architecture.
