Carnival Legend

We set sail on the Carnival Legend on July 17 from Seattle bound for Alaska.  I am always up for a great cruise on the high seas and this was our second cruise to the last frontier.  Alaska provides unique picturesque landscapes that provide the perfect escape from the summer heat in the lower 48.

You really can’t beat the service on a Carnival cruise and the ability to travel to amazing destinations and only unpacking once. Our seven-day cruise took us north to Tracy Arm Fjord, Skagway, Juneau, Ketchikan, and Victoria BC.

Onboard there are tons of drink and restaurant options including Guy’s Burger Joint, Blue Iguana Cantina, Bonsai Sushi and Alchemy bar for special onboard cocktails daily. We made reservations and had one of our best meals onboard at the Steakhouse for a fancy night out onboard. I also never miss the amazing Sea Day brunch in the restaurant onboard.

There are also so many options for activities onboard the ship. I always use the at sea days to enjoy the world-class spa services. Nightly entertainment options include comedians in the Firebird Lounge and live song and dance Broadway-style shows in the Follies Theater.
