The only word for the Taylor Hawkins Tribute concert LA at the Kia Forum last week is EPIC! The show spanned six hours taking fans on a journey through four decades of musical hits with bands that Taylor played in and bands that he idolized
Photographs of Taylor projected across screens throughout the arena for fans to remember his smiling face in cherished memories with friends and family. Taylor played music over the past two and a half decades with the Foo Fighters and his other bands including Chevy Metal.
Dave Grohl spoke between songs to introduce artists and stated that he had spoken to at least 50 people in the past few months who said that they talked to Taylor every day. It shows how beloved this drum hero was in the music community and how many people he brought together.
