Tickets for the 38th Annual Rock & Roll Hall of Fame Induction Ceremony go on sale this Friday, September 8th at 10am. The ceremony will take place at Barclays Center in Brooklyn, NY on Friday, November 3rd.
The 2023 Inductee class is broken down into four categories: Performers, Musical Influence Award, Musical Excellence Award and the Ahmet Ertegun Award, which is awarded to non-performing industry professionals who have had a major influence on the creative development and growth of rock & roll and music that has impacted youth culture. In order to be eligible, artists have to have released their first record 25 years prior to Induction. For four of the seven Inductees in the Performer Category this year – Sheryl Crow, Missy Elliott, George Michael and Willie Nelson – this was their first time on the ballot. For Missy Elliott, it was her first year of eligibility as well.
