Rock Hall to Open Bon Jovi Forever Exhibit June 8th In Cleveland

2018 Rock & Roll Hall of Fame inductees Bon Jovi will visit Cleveland on Saturday, June 8th to open the museum’s Bon Jovi Forever exhibit. This unique exhibit takes over the 6th floor of the museum and showcases artifacts spanning four decades of the band’s history. Fans have a chance to attend two early access preview events on Friday, June 7th and Saturday June 8th before its public opening on the 9th.

“We are pleased to celebrate Bon Jovi’s 40th Anniversary with this incredible blockbuster exhibition: Bon Jovi Forever. For decades the band has delivered massive hits and epic concerts that earned a large and loyal fanbase, and we are excited to welcome these fans to the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame,” said Rock & Roll Hall of Fame President and CEO, Greg Harris, he continued, “We are grateful for the generosity of Jon Bon Jovi and his bandmates in support of this remarkable exhibition. They gave us exclusive access to their extensive archive, and we selected artifacts that will enthrall Bon Jovi fans.”

The exhibit’s opening aligns with the recently released “Thank You, Goodnight: The Bon Jovi Story”. Once inside, guests can visit four distinct sections that correspond to each part of the docu-series. Memorabilia includes never-before-seen artifacts from the band’s New Jersey roots to global stardom. Bon Jovi Forever includes artifacts, photos, audio and video that tells the story of Bon Jovi’s legacy. Highlights include the “Livin’ On A Prayer” handwritten lyrics, Jon Bon Jovi’s New Jersey leather jacket, Richie Sambora’s Ovation double-neck acoustic guitar and Tico Torres’ Pearl kick drum.

“When we were inducted into the Hall of Fame, we knew we wanted to have a continuing relationship, not only with the Hall, but with the fans who visit Cleveland every year. To celebrate our 40th anniversary, we have archived EVERYTHING we have from notebooks, to demos, to clothes and photographs. Cleveland felt like the perfect place to share this exhibit,” said Jon Bon Jovi.

Events for the weekend are as follows: 

Friday, June 7th:

Fans can attend a private listening party for Bon Jovi Forever in the Rock Hall’s Foster Theater during this event. Following the album listening, ticket holders will be able to preview the exhibit. Those attending receive a Bon Jovi Merch Bag, including a copy of the album, commemorative lanyard and custom sticker. Tickets are $32 for Members or $67 for Non-Members. Saturday, June 8th:

Ticket holders for the Exhibit Preview on Saturday have access to timed entry to the exhibit and general museum admission. They will also have plaza access to watch the Bon Jovi interview simulcast. 

A raffle determines which Rock Hall Members are the audience for the private Bon Jovi interview taking place in the museum’s Foster Theater. To be entered, Members must purchase tickets for Friday or Saturday’s events. There is a maximum of four tickets per order. Pricing is $15 for Members or $50 for Non-Members. Sunday, June 9th:

The exhibit officially opens to the public. Members and fans alike can participate in Bon Jovi Trivia and other activations with the purchase of a General Admission ticket.
