RENAI, AI-Powered Concierge, Available at Renaissance Hotels

Renaissance Hotels has announced RENAI, its AI-powered concierge service providing instant access to attractions, restaurants and more. This 24/7 virtual concierge service is the first of its kind and the latest evolution of the brand’s signature Navigator program. Guests can try out RENAI by Renaissance at The Lindy Renaissance Charleston Hotel, Renaissance Dallas at Plano Legacy West Hotel and Renaissance Nashville Downtown.

“Our Navigators celebrate the culture, ideas, people and talents of their neighborhoods and provide their personal recommendations on what to see and do in their backyard. RENAI By Renaissance makes this even more accessible and inclusive,” said Eddie Schneider, Global Brand Director, Renaissance Hotels. “We were already in the process of evolving our signature Navigator program when technology leaps presented a serendipitous opportunity to fuse our Navigators’ human insights with time-saving technology. With today’s travelers having access to an overwhelming amount of information, our goal is to help them cut through the clutter and provide a personalized guest experience with regularly updated tips for local discovery.”

RENAI is powered by human touch and AI. Renaissance Navigators have trained the RENAI by Renaissance with their top picks, as designated with the compass emoji. It also utilizes Chat GPT and reputable open-source outlets to gather recommendations for a curated directory. Then, that directory is vetted by Renaissance Navigators. Guests who want to do their own research before traveling can scan a QR code to connect to RENAI. This function is available via text or WhatsApp. Guests receive a response with vetted recommendations as well as special deals for restaurants, tours and additional entertainment options. Once on-site, guests can meet with a Renaissance Navigator for additional help as well.

After the pilot period, Renaissance Hotels plans to expand RENAI by Renaissance more widely in 2024. Their goal is to have it available in over 20 properties globally by March. The complete rollout of the program will include additional communication platforms (including Instagram) and curated recommendations from tastemakers. These collaborators – from musicians, DJs, artists, fashion designers and more – will work with Navigators to create a directory for Renaissance Hotels worldwide.
