Nashville’s Deep Tropics Festival Takes Sustainability Seriously

As a sustainability effort, Deep Tropics has traded paper flyers for packets of wildflower seeds stamped with its 2025 lineup. The music, art and style festival hopes to help music fans positively impact the environment by planting wildflowers and not creating additional litter. Deep Tropics will take place in Bicentennial Capitol Mall State Park in Nashville from August 15-16th.

Music

Deep Tropics will kick off with a pre-party on August 14th. It will take place at Studio 615 from 9pm-2am. The festival officially opens on Friday, August 15th at 2pm and Saturday, August 16th at 12pm. Four stages will operate over the course of the two-day festival during main event hours.

Focus on Sustainability

Deep Tropics is focused on redefining the role music festivals play with sustainability and regenerative culture. It aims to have 100% offset carbon emissions, zero single-use plastics and more in alignment with its climate-positive mission. The seed packets distributing the lineup are a metaphor for the community; each person holds within them the possibility to grow something meaningful.
