Marriott Bonvoy’s portfolio offers something for every type of traveler – from boutique lifestyle to extended stay options and everything in between. Participating D.C. hotels with cherry blossom-themed packages and culinary experiences include:
- The Ven at Embassy Row Hotel: The festival kicks off here with Bloom After Dark, an Opening Ceremony After Party presented with the Embassy of Japan and the Japan Information & Culture Center on March 21st. This one-night only celebration focuses on Sakura season with cherry blossom-inspired cocktails, seasonal hor d’oeuvres, music and immersive cultural experiences. The Ven also offers the Cherry Blossom Package, which provides guests with a complimentary custom Cherry Blossom tote full of curated gifts, locally-inspired treats and springtime essentials to carry the festival home.
- Marriott Marquis Washington, DC: Featuring a cherry blossom-inspired Japanese whisky flight at its signature bar, Dignitary. The flight is an exploration of modern Japanese whisky, including Koji fermented barley-whiskey, refined single malt and balanced blends. At the Lobby Bar, guests can sip the Order of the Samurai cocktail. Japanese whisky is the star, with Green Chartreuse, pineapple, lemon and simple syrup added. The result is a vibrant beverage inspired by spring.
- The Mayflower Hotel, Autograph Collection: Offers its Cherry Blossom Princess Fantasy Suite Experience in the Presidential Suite. This special offering embraces the property’s historic ties to the festival with curated historical imagery and Japanese-inspired accents. The result is a blend of elegance and whimsy. The experience includes a curated private dinner for two at Edgar Bar & Kitchen, complete with a house-made cherry blossom-inspired gelato. A more cost effective option is available with the Blossoms and Bubbles Experience. This includes accommodations, sparkling wine for two, cherry blossom-inspired gelato, valet parking and late checkout.

- The Westin DC Downtown: Where guests can enjoy Root & Vine’s Sakura Serenade, featuring almond dacquoise cake layered with cherry cream and cherry compote, finished with candied pistachios and a delicate chocolate Sakura branch. Two seasonal cocktails will also be served. The first is the Blossom & Bourbon, featuring barrel select Bourbon, Chambord, cherry liqueur and fresh lemon juice. Its lighter counterpart is the Blossom Mist, made with Elderflower Gin, botanical liqueur and fruit-forward French apéritif. During the season, the hotel’s exterior will exhibit a pink glow. Guests can book the Touches of Pink package, featuring a Park View room and Westin’s Sleep Well amenities, including tea service.
- Washington Marriott Metro Center: Japanese and cherry blossom-inspired craft cocktails will be on a curated menu at Spotted Zebra. They include the gin-based Overseas Import, the effervescent Just the One and the Japanese whisky-based Tokyo After Dark. Kyoto Crush and Moonlit Orchid blend Japanese whiskies and gins with vibrant citrus and aperitivo notes are available as well.
