Little Steven’s Underground Garage Cruise is a four-day rock ‘n roll adventure setting sail for the first time in May 2025. The music cruise was created in collaboration between “Little Steven” Van Zandt and Sixthman. Its maiden voyage will begin in Miami, FL and sail to Nassau, Bahamas aboard the Norwegian Gem.

Additionally, “The Coolest Cruise in the World” recently announced that it will also feature The Baseball Project, an all-star band that exclusively performs songs about America’s favorite pastime. The official team roster of The Baseball Project includes Scott McCaughey (Young Fresh Fellows, The Minus 5), Steve Wynn (The Dream Syndicate, Steve Wynn & The Miracle 3, Gutterball), Linda Pitmon (Steve Wynn & The Miracle 3, ZuZu’s Petals) and both Mike Mills and Peter Buck of R.E.M. In addition to their performances as The Baseball Project, members of the band will perform as The Minus 5 and Steve Wynn & The Miracle 3. If that isn’t enough, they will also participate in Lenny Kay & Friends’ celebration of Nuggets, the influential ‘60s garage compilation Kay produced in the early 70s.
A variety of onboard activities will be available to cruisers, including SiriusXM Sessions at Sea radio tapings hosted by DJs from Little Steven’s Underground Garage channel. DJs scheduled to attend currently are Count Peter Zaremba, The Mighty Manfred, Kelly Ogden and Palmyra Delran. There will also be Renegade Cinema screenings, including the 2015 documentary “Michael Des Barres: Who Do You Want Me to Be?”. Following the screening, there will be a Q&A with Little Steven’s Underground Cruise Master of Ceremonies and film subject Michael Des Barres.
As is standard for all Sixthman cruises, Underground Garage cruisers will have the option to partake in beautiful shore excursions in Nassau. Shore excursions are available for booking 4-6 weeks before the ship sets sail. Guests must have their official booking number in order to book their excursions. On board, guests will have access to the ship’s Pool Deck, Gem Club Casino, Mandara Spa, fitness center and plenty of hospitality-focused options to cater to all their needs.
