Joe Bonamassa Sails for Keeping The Blues Alive at Sea X in 2025

Legendary bluesman Joe Bonamassa and Sixthman have announced the 10th edition of Keeping The Blues Alive at Sea, sailing March 21-26, 2025. The blues rock floating festival has expanded to be a five-day, five-night experience with two ports of call. The voyage will sail from Miami, FL to Harvest Caye, Belize and Costa Maya, Mexico aboard the Norwegian Gem. The all-star lineup includes:

  • Big Head Todd and the Monsters
  • Larkin Poe
  • Christone “Kingfish” Ingram
  • Samantha Fish
  • Eric Gales
  • Joanne Shaw Taylor
  • Jimmy Vivino
  • Eddie 9V
  • Thunderstorm Artis
  • Taj Farrant

Additional talent will be announced at a later date. In addition to their scheduled sets, there will be intimate acoustic morning sets, once-in-a-lifetime collaborations, live podcast records, autograph sessions, guest jams, guitar clinics, tastings, meet and greets and much more. Because the cruise has been extended to five days and five nights ,there will also be an additional port excursion. 

Keeping Blues Alive at Sea X will benefit the Keeping the Blues Alive Foundation (KTBA). KTBA, founded in 2011by Bonamassa, provides students, teachers and musicians with the resources and tools needed to further music education. KTBA has impacted the lives of over 90,000 students in all 50 states through weekly donations to music programs in schools, as well as funding other merit-based scholarships and extracurricular initiatives nationwide. In 2020, KTBA formed the Fueling Musicians Program, which provided emergency relief for touring musicians affected by the pandemic. It is now a permanent part of the organization, providing financial assistance for essential living expenses to help keep musicians on their feet and out on the road. 

Pre-sale signup is available now through March 10th at 11:59PM EST. Pre-sale bookings end March 12th. Public on-sale begins March 13th at 2PM EST at www.bluesaliveatsea.com. Three different payment options are available, including automated monthly billing which allows for a deposit as low as $100 per person through July 21st.
