Jay & Silent Bob Present Cruise Askew Sets Sail in February

Sixthman has partnered with Kevin Smith for Jay & Silent Bob Present Cruise Askew, sailing February 23-26, 2024. It will depart from Miami, FL and sail to Nassau, Bahamas aboard the Norwegian Pearl. The cruise, hosted by Kevin Smith and featuring Jason Mewes, will provide passengers with an immersive voyage into the Cruise Askewniverse through live podcast recordings, stand-up comedy, autograph and photo sessions, as well as an array of other activities and experiences.

“As a man who’s been afraid of sharks since he first saw Jaws in 1975, I’m gonna do my best to make sure none of us get eaten on the Cruise Askew! I’m also gonna go out of my way to make sure we all have a great time while on the high seas by loading the 3 days with any and all activities a fan of my flicks could want!” says Kevin Smith, “I’ll make it an experience folks will treasure – and all you have to do is bring your own booty!”

The cruise will feature an all-star lineup of View Askewniverse favorites:

  • Brian O’Halloran
  • Marc Bernardin
  • Ralph Garman
  • Andy McElfresh
  • Jeff Anderson
  • Trevor Fehrman
  • Jennifer Schwalbach Smith

Additionally, the following Smodcast Network podcasts will have live tapings:

  • Jay and Silent Bob Get Old
  • Fatman Beyond
  • Hollywood Babble On
  • Edumacation
  • Plus One

Cruisers wanting an even deeper dive into the Askewniverse can experience “Silly Cinematic Shit”, such the Kevin Smith Me-seum, a “Mooby’s at Sea” pop-up restaurant (featuring late-night Hater Tots) and an unforgettable script reading of an unreleased version of Clerks III. Stand-up sets from Jake Ruble and AJ Wilkerson will have guests in stitches. And it wouldn’t be a Sixthman cruise without live music. The lineup of music artists includes Lo(u)ser, Mega Ran, Rebuilder, Roots of Mine, Telethon and Shut Up & Dance.

To truly take it over the top, the team is also bringing special theme nights, including a ‘90s Prom hosted by Jennifer Schwalbach Smith, aboard. In addition to all of those activities, cruisers can play Bird Bingo, sit in on exclusive behind-the-scenes panels, Q&As, movie screenings and more. Clerks, Mallrats and Funployees will also have the opportunity for shore excursions in Nassau. These can be booked 4-6 weeks before the ship sets sail.
