Hersheypark recently announced Twizzlers Twisted Gravity, a pendulum attraction that will set a world record when it opens next summer. The ride will be the tallest screamin’ swing in the world when it opens in 2025. Additionally, Hersheypark is the only place guests can take a selfie with a Twizzlers character, measure their height in Twizzlers and ride a Twizzlers-themed train on the Candymonium hypercoaster. This Twizzlers-inspired adventure, manufactured by S&S Worldwide, is the newest to join the iconic candy-themed skyline at Hersheypark.
During the one-minute and ten-second experience, riders ascend 137 feet and will reach speeds of 68 miles per hour. Throughout their ride, they will experience multiple zero G moments while swinging above Spring Creek in The Hollow region of Hersheypark. The ride contains four branded zones across two gondolas, featuring Twizzlers Strawberry, Cherry, Hershey’s Chocolate and Black Licorice-flavored designs.
“We continue to invest in attraction experiences that leverage unique Hershey brands, so we are thrilled to add a Twizzlers-branded Screamin’ Swing to our unmatched ride portfolio next summer,” said Vikki Hultquist, Vice President of Hersheypark & Entertainment Operations. “Twizzlers Twisted Gravity will provide our guests with the best of both worlds – the ultimate thrills and never-before-seen views of our Park’s beautiful 121 acres as they soar to a record-breaking height and leave gravity behind.”
Hersheypark is Pennsylvania‘s largest amusement park. Therein, ticket holders can experience over 75 rides, a water park and a zoo with their admission. Once Twizzlers Twisted Gravity opens in summer 2025, it will be open all four seasons, weather permitting.
