Gibson Garage Miami Opens This September, Bringing the Ultimate Guitar Experience to Wynwood

Music lovers visiting Miami this fall will have an exciting new attraction to add to their itinerary. Gibson has announced the grand opening of Gibson Garage Miami, a one-of-a-kind music destination opening to the public on September 10, 2026, in the city’s vibrant Wynwood Arts District.

Located at 2660 NW 3rd Avenue, Gibson Garage Miami becomes the company’s third global retail experience, joining the flagship Gibson Garage in Nashville and the Gibson Garage London. More than just a guitar store, the new venue is designed as an immersive experience where visitors can discover legendary instruments, enjoy live performances, and celebrate Miami’s rich musical heritage.

Spanning more than 8,000 square feet, Gibson Garage Miami will showcase over 500 instruments from the Gibson family of brands, including Gibson, Epiphone, Kramer, MESA/Boogie, Maestro, KRK, and Gibson Amplifiers. One of the store’s most eye-catching features is a moving overhead conveyor belt displaying guitars, inspired by Gibson’s famous manufacturing process. The installation serves as a reminder that every instrument is built to be played and enjoyed.

At the heart of the new space is a dedicated live performance stage that will host artist showcases, album release events, community programming, and intimate concerts featuring both legendary performers and rising stars. The venue is designed to create meaningful connections between artists, fans, and the instruments that have shaped generations of music.

Gibson Garage Miami Opens This September

The Miami location embraces the city’s diverse cultural influences with displays celebrating Latin, Caribbean, rock, pop, hip-hop, electronic, and global music traditions. Visitors will also find exclusive apparel collaborations with local designers, lifestyle merchandise, rare guitars, celebrity memorabilia, and the first stateside Gibson Gallery, an art installation featuring photography, street art, and iconic moments from music history.

For musicians looking for something truly unique, Gibson Garage Miami will offer the company’s Custom Made to Measure program. Working alongside Gibson Garage experts, customers can design their dream instrument by selecting everything from wood tops and neck profiles to pickups, finishes, hardware, and aging techniques through Gibson’s renowned Murphy Lab. Each custom guitar will be handcrafted by Gibson’s artisans in Nashville.

The new Garage is perfectly at home in Wynwood, one of Miami’s most creative neighborhoods known for its colorful murals, galleries, restaurants, and thriving arts scene. Situated on the ground floor of the Wynwood Garage, the location places Gibson in the center of one of the country’s most dynamic cultural districts.

“Retail is no longer just about what people buy—it’s about what they feel, discover, and become part of,” said Anne Rohosy, Interim CEO of Gibson. “Whether you’re a lifelong Gibson player, an emerging artist, or someone picking up a guitar for the first time, this is a place where music feels welcoming, inspiring, and real.”

Whether you’re a serious guitarist, an aspiring musician, or simply a fan of music history, Gibson Garage Miami promises to be one of the city’s newest must-visit attractions. Grand opening celebrations begin September 10, with additional artist appearances, live performances, and special events to be announced in the coming weeks.

For travelers planning a visit to Miami this fall, Gibson Garage Miami offers another reason to spend time exploring the colorful streets of Wynwood—where music, art, and culture come together in one unforgettable destination.
