Fordson Hotel Joins The Unbound Collection by Hyatt

Fordson Hotel, an industrial revolution-inspired property in Oklahoma City, has officially become a part of The Unbound Collection by Hyatt. Through The Unbound Collection, Hyatt has curated one-of-a-kind properties that inspire guests to elevate their travel experiences. Fordson Hotel, owned by Hall Capital and managed by Avion Hospitality, is a former Ford Motor Company Assembly Plant dating back to over a century. It seamlessly blends steel architectural elements and vintage fixtures with modern furnishings such as custom-designed furniture. The hotel is located at 900 W Main Street in Oklahoma City’s West Village District.

“We’re excited to welcome Fordson Hotel to The Unbound Collection by Hyatt portfolio and offer travelers a one-of-a-kind, story-worthy stay option in Oklahoma City as part of World of Hyatt,” said Katie Johnson, global brand leader, Independent Collection, Hyatt. “We know the addition of this landmark property will empower guests and members to uncover noteworthy stories in a historic century-old building.”

Fred Jones was the inspiration for the The Fordson Hotel. Jones was one of the largest Ford dealers of the 50s, a civic leader and local industrialist. It is the only historical landmark in Oklahoma City representing a blue-collar industry. A model T is on display in the lobby. Fordson Hotel has 135 guestrooms and suites with steel windows, which offer beautiful views of the city skyline while bathing rooms in natural light.

The property features a cultural civic center full of art exhibitions, loft-inspired guestrooms with high ceilings and modern furnishings, and an outdoor pool that is open year-round. The hotel’s fitness center has aerobic machines, free weights, a steam room and sauna, as well as a full-service spa. Additionally, the property has four on-site restaurants:

  • Mary Eddy’s Dining Room, which serves up classic American cuisine
  • Bodega, which offers grab-and-go options and specialty coffees
  • Pool Bar, where cocktails take center stage
  • The Lobby Lounge, which serves light bites and imaginative cocktails
