Chef José Andrés’ Zaytinya Concept Opens At The Ritz-Carlton South Beach

Set to grace the dynamic shores of South Beach is the esteemed culinary concept known as Zaytinya. Opening its doors to the public on November 29th, this gastronomic gem is situated within the opulent Ritz-Carlton, South Beach. Representing the much-awaited return of globally acclaimed celebrity chef José Andrés to Miami, Zaytinya stands as the newest jewel in the crown of the José Andrés Group—a culinary force recognized for its mission to “change the world through the power of food.”

“Zaytinya is a celebration of the honest, delicious flavors of the Eastern Mediterranean that have inspired the world for centuries. We cannot wait to bring this food to South Beach!” says Chef José Andrés in a recent press release.

The essence of Zaytinya is a distinctive collaboration between Chef José Andrés and Aglaia Kremezi, who serves as Zaytinya’s Chef Partner. Over 15 years ago, their mutual dedication to authentic cuisine gave rise to the inception of the Zaytinya concept.

Bringing the finest flavors of Turkey, Greece, and Lebanon together in one venue, Zaytinya’s menu mirrors the abundant regional diversity of these timeless cuisines. This culinary masterpiece is guided by the expertise of James Beard Award-winning chef José Andrés and concept chef Michael Costa. The beverage selection at Zaytinya South Beach is as meticulously curated as the culinary offerings, featuring an eclectic array of unique wines from the Mediterranean and beyond.

Originally an iconic culinary institution in Washington, D.C., the Zaytinya brand has recently extended its influence with the 2022 opening of a New York City location at The Ritz-Carlton New York, NoMad. Zaytinya’s third location represents the second collaboration between Flag Luxury Group and José Andrés Group, coinciding with the approval of a plan to construct a 15-story residential building on the property—a project ardently supported by all three hotel ownership groups: Flag Luxury Group, Lionstone Development, and Ben-Josef Group.

In October 2023, José Andrés Group assumed control of all food and beverage operations for The Ritz-Carlton South Beach, including Lapidus lobby bar, DiLlido Beach Club, in-room dining, banquet services, and the Ritz Club lounge.

Zaytinya is located at the Ritz-Carlton, South Beach at 1 Lincoln Road, Miami Beach, Florida 33139. Starting November 29th, Zaytinya South Beach is open 7 a.m. to 10 p.m. from Sunday to Thursday and 7 a.m. to 11 p.m. on Friday and Saturday. For more information, visit www.zaytinya.com.
