Chef Bill Briand’s Southern Grace Dinner Series Returns in 2026

The Southern Grace Dinner Series will return for three evenings next spring during March, April and May 2026 at Little Bird. The dinner series highlights standout, award-winning Southern chefs. 2026 kicks off with the Birmingham Boys – chefs Frank Stitt, Adam Evans and Rob McDaniel – on March 19th. Little Bird is located at 404 Oak Avenue in Fairhope, Alabama.

How it Began

Briand began The Southern Grace Dinner Series during his tenure at Fisher’s at Orange Beach. The one-night only dinners became a fan favorite for Gulf Coast guests. Now, Chef Briand is bringing the series back at Little Bird. Each dinner begins with cocktail hour, hor d’oeuvres and mingling before guests are seated for the multi-course menu and beverage pairings.

“These dinners have always carried a great deal of meaning, and I am thrilled to bring the tradition to its new home at Little Bird,” says Briand. “Cooking with my mother is where everything began for me, and welcoming friends into my own kitchen now feels like the truest expression of what Southern Grace represents.”

In addition to the Birmingham Boys, two more dinners will feature other prominent Southern chefs. April’s featured chef is Meg Bickford of Commander’s Place in New Orleans. This event will take place on April 9th and tickets will be available beginning January 8th. On May 14th, attendees will have two guest chefs: Stephen Stryjewski and Ryan Prewitt. Those tickets will be available beginning February 5th.
