Biltmore House Stars In A Hallmark Christmas Movie Debuting November 26th

Anyone who has visited the Biltmore Estate knows how magical it is during the Christmas season so it makes sense that the network known for creating the most original holiday love stories would choose the Biltmore House as the backdrop for a Hallmark Channel movie, “A Biltmore Christmas.”

The movie was filmed over 13 days in January 2023 when the house was decked out in all its Christmas glory to make a perfect setting for the romantic drama that is sure to become a Christmas classic for the Hallmark Channel.

What Is The Plot of A Blitmore Christmas?

The movie plot centers around Lucy Hardgrove (played by Bethany Joy Lenz) who secures the opportunity of a lifetime as a screenwriter when she is tasked with crafting the script for a remake of the cherished holiday classic, “His Merry Wife!”—a film originally shot in 1947 at the enchanting Biltmore House. However, her creative vision diverges from the studio head’s expectations, prompting a journey to the Biltmore Estate for research and inspiration. There, she encounters Winston (Jonathan Frakes), a Biltmore employee who warmly welcomes her.

During her stay, Lucy stumbles upon an unexpected ability to traverse back to the 1947 set of “His Merry Wife!” using an hourglass. In this era, she forms a close bond with Jack Huston (Kristoffer Polaha), one of the film’s stars. Yet, her sudden presence triggers a series of events jeopardizing the production. Before she can return to her own time, Lucy must rectify the situation, or risk altering the course of the future irreversibly.

Why do we harbor such a deep affection for narratives involving time travel? Could it be the allure of the improbable and the sheer impossibility of such journeys? Is it the underlying thread of love and romance woven into these stories that captivates our fascination?
