Atlantis Paradise Island Launches Barbie Bahamas Beach Vacation: Where Atlantis Dreams Come True

Atlantis Paradise Island, one of the world’s most remarkable destination resort, in an exclusive partnership with global toy and entertainment company Mattel, is set to unveil resort-wide programming and entertainment this Memorial Day weekend with “Barbie Bahamas Beach Vacation: Where Atlantis Dreams Come True.” This unique collaboration, the first of its kind in the Caribbean, will feature Barbie-themed guest rooms, pool cabanas, activities, and a café; a picture-perfect Barbie walk-through experience; and pink-themed dishes and drinks served throughout the iconic resort.

Barbie Bahamas Beach Vacation: Where Atlantis Dreams Come True marks the collaboration of two iconic brands in family experiences and entertainment,” says Audrey Oswell, President and Managing Director of Atlantis Paradise Island. “Atlantis is the backdrop for lifelong family memories, and Barbie has an indelible impact that spans generations. We could not be prouder to launch this landmark partnership and continue to craft unforgettable moments for our guests and locals alike.”

Starting May 24th, select suites and guest rooms in Atlantis’ family-friendly hotel, The Coral, will be transformed into a Barbie paradise. These rooms will feature pink walls, shell-shaped throw pillows, disco balls, doll-themed artwork, mirrors with selfie decals, and Barbie beach bathroom decor, creating a dream come true for Barbie fans. The Coral’s adjacent swimming pool will boast a Barbie lounge area and private cabanas decorated with pink and yellow throw pillows, providing plenty of photo-worthy backdrops.

The Great Hall of Waters at The Royal will become the Barbie Boardwalk Adventure, a custom-built, immersive walkthrough experience. Open daily from 12 p.m. to 8 p.m. starting on June 7th, this attraction will transport guests into a life-sized Barbie world featuring interactive playsets, a ball pit with over 80,000 balls, activity stations, and Instagrammable moments, including life-size Barbie doll boxes. The Barbie Boardwalk Adventure will be a ticketed event, with prices starting at $35 per person.

Atlantis Paradise Island, known as the culinary capital of the Caribbean, will feature Barbie-themed food and drinks across various dining venues. The Coral’s Sun & Ice will transform into a Barbie-themed eatery with a retro-style café counter, pink and blue tables and chairs, and captivating Barbie art. Menu highlights include the Paradise Sub, a Viennese bun with prosciutto, cheese, and truffle mayo; Sea-Breeze Salad with cucumber, avocado, shrimp, arugula, and peach vinaigrette; Strawberry Bliss Tart with a pink crust and marshmallows; and pink macarons in various flavors.

Murray’s Delicatessen will offer pink donuts, milkshakes, and pink pancakes; Plato’s at The Royal will feature berry croissants, chia seed pudding parfaits, and pink velvet cupcakes with berry toppings; and Perch at The Cove will serve pink-themed dishes like Beach Day Beet Hummus and Bahamas Beet Salad with watermelon and mint.

For adults, pink and blue cocktails will be available throughout the resort, including Beach Vibes, Ocean Waves, and Pink Paradise made with Tito’s Vodka, coconut water, pink lemonade, pineapple and cranberry juice, mint syrup, garnished with a strawberry and pineapple wedge. Younger guests can enjoy the Pink Paradise mocktail, topped with gummy bears.

Atlantis Kids Adventure (AKA) offers more Barbie-themed fun for children ages 3-12. Kids can join Barbie & Ken Story Time with a mermaid reading Barbie books and receive a commemorative bookmark. The Barbie & Ken Culinary Adventure lets kids cook treats with a professional chef while wearing pink and teal chef hats and aprons. Younger guests can also join the Barbie Mermaid Adventure with story time, crafts, baking, pool games, and a Barbie mermaid transformation.

Throughout the summer, Atlantis will host Barbie Bahamas Pool Parties at The Coral Pool, open to all resort guests. These pink pool parties will feature family-friendly fun, bubble machines, Barbie trivia, games, face painting, and pink pool floats. Barbie-themed snacks like pink and blue snow cones and cotton candy will be available poolside. Families can end the day with poolside or movie theater screenings of Barbie movies.

Barbie retail locations will ensure guests can take home a piece of Barbie’s ultimate summer escape. Exclusive items and unique Barbie Bahamas Beach Vacation merchandise will be available at the Great Hall of Waters, Local Tings in Marina Village, and the Atlantis Kids Retail Store in The Coral starting June 7th.

Travelers planning their getaway to Atlantis Paradise Island can take advantage of Atlantis’ Summer Sale, available on stays booked through June 19, with savings on travel through November 22. The Summer Sale offers 25% off stays of four nights or longer and a resort credit of $100-$400 depending on the length of stay. Kids six and under can eat free with the purchase of an adult Aqua Dining Plan. Additionally, travelers will receive an extra $15 for every $100 spent on Experience Credits, including Beverage and Family Fun Credits.
