Accor Unveil 2023 Hotel Openings

With an expected uptick in travel slated for 2023 and even busier travel seasons ahead, French hospitality group Accor has announced dozens of hotels and resorts opening globally throughout the new year.

Some of the most interesting  openings include many firsts for the brand. Sofitel Legend Casco Viejo Panama, is the first hotel in Panama with French roots in thee historic city of Casco Viejo, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. This property boasts unobstructed views of the Pacific Ocean and Panama City skyline.

In late 2023 they will launch their first Accor Hotel, Swissôtel Resort Kolasin, in Montenegro above sea level with views of ski slopes. Accor will also be celebrating the 75th anniversary of their Mövenpick brand and launching its first hotel in the coastal city of Qingdao, in eastern Shandong Province in China.

One of only a few openings in North America, so far, will be the 21c Museum Hotel in St. Louis. The 21c property is modernizing a century-old building with contemporary art spaces, community-focused cultural programming, locally sourced food and beverage, rooms and amenities. The building was formerly a YMCA site and to honor that, 21c St. Louis will also feature a full-service athletic and swim club.

From boutique hotels in the city to sandy beach getaways at a resort destination, there are a variety of forthcoming properties from Accor.
