Through new programming, Holland America Line offers a broader Mediterranean experience for guests traveling in Fall 2027-Winter 2028. Guests can choose from 20+ sailings aboard Nieuw Statendam, Rotterdam, Oosterdam and Zuiderdam that include more time ashore at both marquee ports and less-visited destinations. 2027 marks the first time that Rotterdam will be included in these itineraries.

Rotterdam was recently added to these offerings because of continued demand for European travel beyond the summer months. During these itineraries, extended stays at each port provide travelers with more in depth exploration through on-shore excursions. Whether embarking on guided city tours or partaking in more immersive experiences, Holland America Line offers its guests deeply enriching options to experience these destinations. Guests can take in the ancient ruins of Ephesus from Kusadasi in Turkey, tour Pompeii from Naples or walk through the medieval streets of Kotor’s Old Town in Montenegro.
