Carnival Cruises Unveils Italian-themed Venezia Ship

Carnival Cruise line has revealed new details about its’ bellissimo ship that is the Venezia! It will be setting sail this summer from New York.

Italian architectural design and Italian cuisine will be served on this ship, inspired by Italian culture. Carnival Venezia’s outdoor spaces feature Italian touches and has a Lido deck modeled after the Italian Riviera.

“Carnival Fun Italian Style is a new take on our recipe for creating memorable Carnival cruises, but certainly, fun will still be at the heart of everything we do on board,” said Christine Duffy, president of Carnival Cruise Line in a press release.

There will also be Terrazza staterooms which include the interior and balconies. There are lavish Terrazza Cabanas options, which feature private patios complete with plush loungers, a hammock and direct lanai access to Terrazza Carnevale featuring two whirlpools, a bar and lounge space.

If you’re staying in the 77 Terrazza staterooms there will be exclusive perks including exclusive access to Carnevale Lounge in the morning with complimentary continental breakfast, branded robes and towels, curated brunch on select sea days with a complimentary Spritz or Mimosa and an exclusive sail-away event in Terrazza Carnevale with live music.

There will be plenty of eating options without being in a Terrazza stateroom. Some Italian cuisine includes, Italians street food and sandwiches from La Strada Grill, a fusion Mexican and Italian restaurant Tomodoro. Canal Grande and Marco Polo Restaurants restaurants each feature three-course meals in spaces surrounded by elegant Italian sculptures and architectural designs, including a real-life Venetian gondola.

The Venezia will sail from New York’s Manhattan Terminal, with various destinations, 22 unique itineraries featuring visits to 25 ports across 14 countries beginning June 15, 2023!
