The Roosevelt Hotel In New Orleans Secures Top Spot for Holiday Travel in the U.S. by USA Today

The Roosevelt Hotel in the Central Business District in New Orleans secures the top spot for holiday travel in the U.S. by USA Today.

During the festive season, The Roosevelt’s lobby becomes a cherished attraction for both Louisiana locals and visitors. The hotel lobby is one of the most Instagrammable spots in the city during the holidays.

Towering faux tree stems, adorned with sparkling white lights, create a majestic presence, reaching towards the dazzling ceiling chandeliers. Adjacent to these branches, snow-white Christmas trees decked out with red ribbons and ornaments add to the enchanting display.

The dazzling light display forms a festive tunnel that create the perfect photo opportunities or simply invites onlookers to soak up the Christmas spirit before enjoying dinner at Domenica or a cocktail at the Sazerac Bar.

Domenica is a Top Travel Addict pick for dinner in New Orleans. The Lasagne is one of the best dishes in the city and we indulge every time we are in town.

Selected by USA Today travel editors as a prime destination for holiday travel, The Roosevelt, a Waldorf Astoria property, emerged the winner in readers’ choice, surpassing renowned hotels like The Plaza in New York City, The Peninsula Chicago, and Fairmont San Francisco to claim the coveted top spot.

The Roosevelt also secured a place on Travel and Leisure’s list of the best hotels to stay in during the holiday season.

There is no place like New Orleans for the holidays. If you are in the Crescent City this holiday season make sure you sure to checkout all the luxury hotel lobbies that are decked out for the holiday with magical Christmas decorations.
