Harry Potter: A Forbidden Forest Experience in Cincinnati, Ohio turned Cub World into a fairytale. The traveling storybook experience has enchanted 11 cities worldwide and has seen over 2 million visitors. Guests are welcome to explore the outdoor trail, designed after the Harry Potter universes’ mystery and creature-filled Forbidden Forest. With your own magic wand, you can interact with lights, sounds, and creatures in the forest with the flick of your wrist.

The Woodland trail takes approximately 45 – 75 minutes to walk through. It brings to life the dark corners of the Harry Potter universe with special interactive moments accompanied by lights, sound, and magical imagery. Many of the otherworldly creatures and scenes from Harry Potter can be found along the trail such as unicorns and the majestic Hippogriff. There are plenty of photo opportunities along the trail which can be shared at #HPForbiddenForestExperience on social media.

Harry Potter themed food and drinks are offered including savory Butterbeer and Hogwarts House flavored hot chocolates: Slytherin as mint, Ravenclaw as vanilla, Gryffindor as caramel, and Hufflepuff as butterscotch. The handful of snacks offered also make nods to Harry Potter with bites like Hogwarts House Surprise Buns, an egg custard bun with a surprise color inside, and the Chocolate Frog Mud Cake, a chocolatey dessert with a chocolate frog on top. There are also gluten-free and vegan options available!

To fully enjoy the experience and find all the interactive opportunities, set aside roughly 1 hour to 1.5 hours to delve into the entire Harry Potter realm. The Forbidden Forest Trail is a mystical outdoor walking path. Some areas are steep and many of the areas are not a smooth, flat surface. Dress accordingly for outdoor weather and wear appropriate hiking shoes. It is suggested that you buy tickets online ahead of time, as they tend to sell out quickly. However, tickets may be available on site at the ticket booth.

Tickets for adults are $36.00 and $21.00 for children (3-12) and can be purchased on the Fever App or website. There are several other bundle discounts for family groups, deluxe experiences, and seniors. Each group of tickets is booked at a specific time with reservations beginning at 5:30 PM, Wednesday through Sunday. When purchasing your ticket, you can choose to donate to One Tree Planted, a charity that contributes to reforestation and sustainability. The experience alone has contributed to 65,000 trees being planted so far.
