Luke Combs, all of which have garnered positive attention from fans and country lovers. Malone carries the entirety of the album with help from all of his special guests, even including country music legends like Hank WIlliams Jr., Tim McGraw, and Dolly Parton.

Malone kicked off the F-1 Trillion tour back on Sunday September 8th in his hometown of Salt Lake City. The tour has wound its way across America to Nashville last night at Nissan Stadium in Nashville, Tennessee. The Nashville date was originally scheduled to be the last show on the tour and fans gathered in the masses to see the award-winning musician. Back in August, Post added four more show dates onto his sold-out tour in Houston and Austin, Texas making the two month long a 25-show tour.

The opening band, Muscadine Bloodline, a country music duo from Mobile, Alabama will once again open for Post Malone. Members Gary Stanton and Charlie Muncaster started the band in 2016. Since then the pair has had their Opry debut and released three acclaimed albums. They even canceled their Coastal Plain Tour to join Malone on the road for the entirety of his tour which is quickly coming to an end. The Alabama natives were good sports when they announced that the University of Tennessee Vols had just beaten Alabama in the biggest football game of the year that was taking place on Saturday afternoon. Probably a smart move to avoid boos from the stadium full of UT fans.

Fans cheered and screamed as Post Malone came out on stage a little after 9 p.m. with the melody to his opening song “Wrong Ones” playing. Malone wore jeans, crocks and a grey Stoney B t-shirt with a puppy portrait on it. Post looked out at the crowd in awe and thanked the fans for coming to be a part of his first ever stadium headlining show of his career.

Old bangers like “White Iverson,” “Better Now,” and “Chemical” were among the 26 song setlist. Many of the songs were from his new album while the others were from fan favorites like Beerbongs & Bentleys and Stoney.

For the Nashville show, Post mixed up his normal setlist and played a cover of “Wish I Didn’t Know Now” in a tribute to the late Toby Keith in the middle of the set. He also did a Brad Paisley cover of “I’m Gonna Miss Her” and talked about how Brad was a great friend since he came to Nashville to work on the album. Malone also added in the songs “Losers” and “Dead at The Honky Tonk” since kicking off the tour in Salt Lake City.

Mid-set Post Malone jumped down to the barricade wall to bring up a young fan named Winter to accompany him on guitar for “Stay.” He had met the young girl last year and bought her a blue telecaster and she learned the song to play onstage for the biggest crowd of the tour. Post makes this moment special at every show bringing a fans onstage to play for this once in a lifetime experience they will not soon forget.

In recent shows, Malone finally added in the smash hit, “Pour Me A Drink” into the setlist and last night he brought out Blake Shelton to sing the song with him. The crowd erupted as Post introduced the country superstar. This would turn out to be the only guest of the night. Fans may be disappointed who had hoped for a night full of duets but Posty carried the show all by himself and delivered a magical night in Nashville.

Post effortlessly transitioned between rap songs and country songs as the stage lit up with pyrotechnics and incredible visuals. The lights turned red as the intro for “Rockstar” began and then the shirt came off as fire erupted on the stage as Posty sang the verses in what looked like a throwback to his pyro-filled festival headlining sets of the summer.

For his final song of the night, Malone sang out the words to “Sunflower.” He seemed to take in the crowd one last time before finishing the show with fireworks around the stadium and jumping down off the stage to sign autographs and take photos with fans on the rail.
