Ashley Cooke & Joe Jonas Surprise CRS Crowd with New Duet “All I Forgot”

Last Friday’s Country Radio Seminar (CRS) held in downtown Nashville at the Omni Hotel had a surprise guest appearance alongside up-and-coming artist Ashley Cooke. The event hosts radio and industry personalities, artists, and journalists for three days each year. The event includes special performances, workshops, and interviews all about the country music industry. Five emerging artists were spotlighted this year: Drew Baldridge, Ashley Cooke, Dasha, Zach Top, and Warren Zeiders; all of which have seen country radio success in the past two years.

For her CRS performance, Cooke sang through tracks like her first No. 1 Country Radio hit “Your Place,” and “I Almost Do.” She then slipped in a new never before heard song called “The F Word.” The highlight of the night was when Cooke closed out her performance with a duet with Joe Jonas singing their new song “all I forgot.” The single was released just a few days ago and we can already tell it’s going to be one we can’t get out of our heads.

The pair performed together on stage, blending their vocals with Jonas straying from his usual rock/pop sound to try country. The song is a play on the phrase “drinking to forget,” but instead of forgetting her lover, Cooke forgets everything except for them. Produced by Joey Moi and pop sensation Charlie Puth, this heart felt track was written by a team of writers including Cooke, Jacob Kasher Hindlin (JKash), Griff Clawson, David Alexander, Naliya, Puth, and Jonas. Exploring the lows of heartbreak and finding comfort in the bottom of a bottle, Cooke and Joe created a melody that many men and women today can feel a sense of familiarity with. “Creating this song with Joe was an experience I’ll never forget,” shared Cooke. “This one goes out to anyone who has felt the sting of heartbreak.”

27-year-old Ashley Cooke had her first No.1 Country radio hit with “Your Place” becoming one of the few solo female chart-toppers in 2024. Cooke stands as a nominee for Best New Country Artist at the 2025 iHeartRadio Music Awards coming up in March. She has already been named a MusicRow Breakthrough Artist-Writer of the Year, ACM New Female Artist of the Year nominee, and a CMT Music Award winner.

Joe Jonas is a well-known pop icon and actor, best known for his days as a Jonas Brother; the band he began with his two brothers back in the 2000’s. The Grammy-nominated band made an explosive return in 2019 with the surprise release of banger “Sucker” following a six-year hiatus and have garnered a bevy of awards and accolades. Jonas is also the lead singer of the multi-platinum group DNCE. You’ve probably heard their 2015 quintuple-platinum single “Cake By The Ocean.” We can’t wait to see what else Ashley Cooke has in store as she navigates the country music industry. For now, we’ll be jamming out to the “All I Forgot” lyric video
