A Charlie Brown Christmas Comes to Life in ICE! at Gaylord Opryland’s 2025 Holiday Spectacle

This year, the beloved holiday attraction at Gaylord Opryland Resort returns in full festive glory — with some extra nostalgia baked in. Running from November 7, 2025, to January 3, 2026, ICE! at Opryland is celebrating both the 75th anniversary of the Peanuts comic strip and the 60th anniversary of the classic TV special A Charlie Brown Christmas. Visitors are invited to step into a shimmering winter wonderland carved entirely from ice, where Charlie Brown, Snoopy and the rest of the Peanuts gang have been immortalized in massive, hand-sculpted ice scenes.

What to Expect

Over 2 million pounds of ice — Six thousand-plus blocks skillfully carved over more than 12,000 hours by master artisans, brought to life inside a 19,000-square-foot frozen attraction.

Iconic holiday scenes — The ICE! walkthrough features beloved moments and characters from “A Charlie Brown Christmas,” rendered in crystalline detail and glowing under colored lights.

Frozen fun for all ages — Brave the two-story-tall ice slides, wander through sculpted passageways, and pose for plenty of photos with Snoopy, Linus, Woodstock and more. The attraction is family-friendly and a wonderful way to bring the Peanuts magic to life for old and new fans alike.

The ICE! attraction runs from November 7, 2025, through January 3, 2026, operating daily throughout the season. Guests are required to reserve a timed-entry ticket in advance, as late arrivals may risk losing their spot. General admission typically starts around $29.99, though early-bird specials and online discounts can bring prices down to about $20.99.

Inside the exhibit, temperatures are kept at a frosty 9°F, so visitors are provided with the signature blue parkas—available in all sizes—but additional winter gear like hats, gloves, warm pants, and closed-toe shoes is highly recommended. Most people spend 20 to 40 minutes exploring the frozen scenes, enjoying the ice slides, and taking in all the photo-worthy details of this chilly holiday experience.
