Hilton Hotels & Resorts has expanded in Mexico with Hilton Monterrey, a 225-room property in Nuevo León. It is located within 25 miles of Mariano Escobedo International Airport. For those interested in arts and culture, the Hilton Monterrey is just five miles from the Mexican History Museum, the Museum of Contemporary Art and Fundidora Park.
It is within walking distance of Galerías Valle Oriente Shopping Mall, which hosts many shops and dining options. Guests can use the eight meeting spaces spanning over 12,000 square feet for business or social situations. The largest of the meeting spaces, Magnolia Ballroom, can host up to 600 attendees. There is on-site catering available as well.
“As our ninth Hilton property in this thriving metropolis and industrial hub, we are delighted to debut Hilton Monterrey as part of our growing portfolio in Mexico,” said Jorge Giannattasio, Senior Vice President and Head of Operations, Caribbean and Latin America, Hilton. “We look forward to welcoming guests and locals alike to this stylish hotel where they can experience our elevated accommodations and enjoy a cocktail at the rooftop bar, served with our signature hospitality for which Hilton is known.”
Hirsch Bedner Associates designed the hotel. The design takes into consideration the urban architecture of the city and the surrounding natural beauty. The palette is neutral with dark contrasting tones and elements of misty blue, reminiscent of the area’s landscape. Stone, wood and metal elements combine to add to the tranquil ambiance.
The view from the rooms have unobstructed city views or sweeping mountainscapes. Rooms include complimentary high speed WiFi, 55 inch TVs, work desks, rainfall showers, large closet space and more.
Energy efficiency is a priority, so the hotel uses heat recovery systems to save natural gas, water-conserving toilet tanks and showers and maintains rooms by an automation system at a certain temperature when they are unoccupied.
On-site dining experiences are curated by Chef Alejandro González and inspired by traditional Mexican cuisine and grounded in sustainability. Guests and locals can choose Härth, Härth Bar and Wander. Härth is a farm-to-table seasonal restaurant that serves up local and international cuisine daily. Härth Bar is open all day with fresh cocktails on its terrace. Wander is on the rooftop, serving up a selection of international street food and delicious cocktails.
