Governor’s Ball featuring Kendrick Lamar, Lizzo and Odesza Moves To Flushing Meadows Corona Park

The 2023 edition of Governor’s Ball Music Festival, slated for June 9th-11th, will take place in a new location: Flushing Meadows Corona Park. The iconic green space has been home to two World’s Fairs and the annual US Open Tennis Championship.

“Words can’t express how excited we are to bring Gov Ball to Flushing Meadows Corona Park, one of the most special and storied parks in all of New York City,” says Tom Russell, co-founder and partner at Founders Entertainment.

“Since moving to Queens in 2021 we’ve been overwhelmed by the welcome the community has shown us, and we look forward to continue being a part of and giving back to that community for years to come. We are honored to call such an iconic venue our new home, and we thank Mayor Adams and his administration and Queensborough President Donovan Richards for their trust and support.”

This year’s lineup boasts 60+ artists in addition to headliners Kendrick Lamar, Lizzo and Odesza. In addition to partnering with local non-profits via the Governors Ball Gives Back program, Founders Entertainment will be working with the Queens Night Market to feature local vendors for the 2023 festival. Tickets are now on sale and can be found here.
