70,000 Tons of Metal Cruise Announce Public Sales & Environmental Partnership

Cabins for the world’s biggest Heavy Metal Cruise, 70,000 Tons Of Metal are now on sale. The cruise has also recently announced that they’re teaming up with Greentripper for climate initiatives.

Guests attending the floating festival will have the opportunity to offset their Carbon footprint by purchasing an optional Carbon Offset when booking. Carbon credits are issued in this certified system per tonne of CO2 actually reduced. Greentripper and CO2Logic work with climate projects that meet the highest international standards.

70,000 Tons of Metal is celebrating its 11th voyage in 2023. Next year’s cruise will take place January 30 – February 3, 2023, and sail from Miami, Florida to Bimini, Bahamas and back on board Royal Caribbean’s Freedom of the Seas.

Royal Caribbean has pledged to meet net zero emissions by 2050, according to AP News earlier this year.

Dozens of bands are part of the line-up with nearly 24 hours of music each day of the cruise. Some bands that have already been announced include, Insomnium, Kreator, Nightwish, Oceans of Slumber and many more!
